Looks nice I've got a similar one for nexus 5. Want something a bit sturdier though the neo hybrid looks tempting.

I have the Spigen [Air Cushioned Bumper] [Ultra Hybrid Series] - Metal Slate (SGP11243).

Love the look of this case, compliments the N6 nicely.

That looks really nice actually, I've had horrible experiences with clear backed cases before but I may give that a go. Can anyone recommend a decent screen protector also?

Parcel force still says it's out for delivery. Don't know if that means today or Monday

It should only say out for delivery if it's on the van due to be delivered that day, but yours said that yesterday didn't it ?

Mine is showing as back at the Milton Keynes depot with delivery rescheduled for Monday. could have had it delivered today but that would have cost an extra £12 !!

Ordered a shukan glass screen protector of the rainforest for £2 including delivery. Let's hope the phone comes tomorrow. Going to read how to cut micro to nano..

All set up on my Nexus 6 and must say I'm impressed.

Coming from a Note 3 with all of the Samsung bloat (a lot which I disabled but still a lot left behind that you can't) stock Lollipop is just utterly butterly smooth and fast.

Too early to tell in terms of battery life but I'd say it's below the Note 3. Lasts a full day without any trouble. I did have Battery Saving mode permanently enabled on the Note 3, which prevented the CPU cores going above 1.5Ghz. If I could do the same on the Nexus 6, I'd probably see similar/better battery life.

Quite happy with the £300 outlay.:)

Get rooting and undervolt via Franco kernel

I get very respectable stamina.

Got it all setup now. How much is a nexus 5 second hand worth now, 16gb model screen small scratches back is clean. Red model.

I am really torn between this and the s6, I have always loved my nexus 7 and I just cant decide. there is not much between this and the s6 handset only.

Which should I go for as a rational choice :/

I was worried it'd be too big, but I'm actually enjoying this extra screen space over the n5. Speakers are really good, best I've had in any phone. Screen seems a bit too neon but otherwise good.

Just going to wait to see how the battery life is before I root..

That depends on what's important to you. Go Nexus for large screen, great speakers, prompt OS updates, pure Android. Go S6 for great camera, finger print reader, smaller size.

That is the only drawback that I have found so far although I think there are calibration options if you root. Currently using a black and white wallpaper to tone things down a bit !

The lack of double tap to wake as standard is annoying too although the ambient display seems to work well.

Great value at £303 ! :)

I turned ambient display off when I first got the phone as I thought it was sucking too much juice. When I realised it wasn't the culprit I switched it back on and really really like the feature. Looks soo cool and really useful.

I've just turned ambient display, smart lock with body and location/Bluetooth unlock all on. Lol. Here goes battery life.

The ambient display is great, it's almost like a poor man's knock-on if you tap the side of the phone so it rocks a bit. Downside is it comes on if someone slaps a file on my desk too hard. :D

I went back to stock as my prox sensor wasn't working properly on Chroma. All hardware tests resulted in a readout of 0, given that I spend a lot of time on the phone I really need the in-call number pad so had to revert. I originally thought the screen fix had gone bad so had a wee panic. :o

The wp clock 2 app looks great on this phone, really showcasing the beautiful blacks that the amoled screen is capable of. It is a live wallpaper though so battery life might suffer a bit !
