I paid for express yes, but would still imagine the dispatch time (not the delivery time) would still be the same for a company of that size

thats true, they were excellent for me (expansys)

although some reports on HUKD saying some handsets have been used, even though the box is sealed like new

so check yours over.

I saw that, but its only 2 people, and they were the 64gb white editions? I suspect they were RMAs that got put back in to the new stock pile

I have no idea where mine is still, I wont be using Expansys again, shoddy service

In the Marshmellow thread, there is a few posts from users of the N6 with space issues after flashing, with a fix included, might be worth a peak?

Cheers fixed it now.

Had to install Hells-Core kernel (allows you to edit the system partition). Then I deleted some Google packages such as Hindi & Japanese keyboards, Maps and Youtube.

This created enough space to install busybox, betterbatterystats, adaway & cerberus.

Then you can go to playstore and install them to the normal data app directory if you want.

Nope! Moto have got my phone now.

Mine has finally turned up, it's definitely brand new, but can confirm it came with the EU > UK adapter and no official UK plug so will look to source one.

Going to take some getting use to is this big screen, it makes the N5 look tiny

nice one mate, they are French retail units with full EU warranty

Nah, got mine as part of the Rakuten/Expansys deal, I knew they were French retail units, was happy with that as the EU warranty is confirmed.

I'd just rather have the fast charger device as a UK spec rather than them EU>UK adapters as I don't trust them for some reason

Just got my phone back from Motorola. No real complaints to be honest apart from them not getting in touch to you sooner about the quote. I was notified by a letter in the post of my quote where a simple email would have been quicker and easier.

Just installed Marshmallow on it and it is very snappy... it is making me really consider sending my Z5 Compact back and stick with my Nexus 6 a little longer.

I flashed Marshmallow on it earlier, it was nice and snappy, but the benchmarks seem quite slow with encryption enabled (which you can't disable on a stock rom) compare to 5.1 without encryption, infact the read/write speeds were nearly double in some cases.

So I've flashed back to 5.1 (LMY47I) with a no encryption forced boot img and it's very very quick indeed, quicker than stock Marshmallow - I'll have to decide whats more important, speed or the new features of M, I quite like how Doze is working on the Nexus 5.

I've ordered an Aukey Quick Charge Charger for home and the Aukey quick charge in-car charger too off the rain forest.

Hopefully my new case will be at home when I land back

Update - just realised there is a no force encryption boot img out for 6.0 from Chainfire (it's on NRToolkit too) so reflashing back up to 6.0 without encryption now - happy days!

Must say...EPIC Bargain.

For sure!

Cheers Amos.

Any news on the Franco Kernel for M?

No its been pretty quiet on that front. Currently running the Elemental X one with their app (which is pretty much the same as FKUpdater).

In fact you can use FKUpdater to adjust screen and vibration stuff with the Elemental X kernel.

First thing I had to do was get rid of the yellow tint!

Ah sweet. Good to know.

Yeah that tint and saturation gets me too.

Phone switched off when using the camera again tonight and didn't even bother rebooting itself. This is the last time I'll be using it, got a Note 4 coming tomorrow and god willing I'll have no such worries. I'm still gutted as this is my dream phone what with the big AMOLED screen and pure Android. Not gutted enough to try a third handset though, I'm too worried about Amazon not taking the third one back if it's borked.

You've had some bad luck it seems.

Both mine have been amazing devices no issues whatsoever.

Running M now, flashed just hellscore & supersu, Hopefully franco comes soon, I don't know why but I trust his kernels the most out of any custom ones (no offence intended to the other kernels!)
