Have they actually taken the money, as in on your transactions money has gone out, or have they taken it as a holding payment. What we call it in my work as limbo.

This is where the payments have been sent for settlement but won't actually process however it still shows on your available balance on your bank account.
 
I haven't had a problem with CPW, they were quite helpful actually.

Natwest had flagged it as fraud since it was a large payment. So i called them and authorised it. They took 4-5 payments when i was on the phone to them, but all were declined due to natwest fraud.

Throughout this my order was still active just awaiting payment, once i sorted it with natwest, they took the payment successfully.

I can see it has now been deducted from my account. So i assume all is well. Maybe because i had trouble, that they actually processed the payment.

I guess i'll see when it comes out for delivery.
 
It was in holding payment yesterday so i called them and my bank and the bank told me to tell them to get their bank to fax over the fact that they had cancelled the order.
carphone warehouse agreed and told me it was sorted.

today it actually left my account

Since we are sharing CPW experiences....

As I mentioned at the time (a few pages back)... my initial order was failing to take payment...phoned up, (after phoning my bank and being told it was all OK) and the only thing CPW suggest was insufficient funds, most certainly not correct, so I just assumed I put the details in wrong.Guy on the phone said he couldn't anything with the payment, and my option was to cancel and re-order.... spiffing.

Re-order using the same card...surprise surprise...the next day I get another failed payment message.

Phoned up that evening to be told I could change payment methods for the order, so I switched, this time using a debit card instead of credit.... guy takes the details...all fine, order goes through there and then.

All rather odd....won't be getting any points on my credit card ...but if I get the phone soon-ish I can get over that. Hope I didn't lose a place in the initial batch with the cancellations etc.

So aye...seems to be going fine now..... *fingers crossed*
 
The workaround has been tested on an N6 and shows quite a large increase in some speeds.

Personally I'm quite happy to root and do whatever to the phone so I'll just disable encryption and enjoy even if it does break OTA updates. But this issue really needs to be fixed by google for those who want to keep the phone stock.

Hope we get an option to officially disable it.

I regret buying that Tab it's awful, so damn slow and the camera really is shocking. My Nexus 6 will happily replace that now though, it's only an inch smaller than the Tab haha!

Mine were delivered too but at my parents address. Will get them tomorrow.

Do they seem legit?

Perfectly. It's pretty damn basic but it'll do the job.
