I looked at the form for student discount but it needs the phone number of the account, which I don't have yet looking in my account so can't apply until I get the phone presumably :(

edit: just noticed the voda website no longer shows the moto 360. So that's around 55 hours for them to have taken 500 pre-orders.

There's a chance we will get a notification LED. There is an LED under the top grill (sounds like there could actually be two under there) so it's just a matter of XDA working out how to get the software to utilise it.

What are google up to? Couple of people in the US have accidentally been shipped 2 MB 64gb's :eek::eek:. Googles reponse was "sorry about that, you can keep it, or return it and we'll give you $25 play store credit". guess which option they both chose lol

Nothing here since the initial CPW email but have noticed they have taken the money out of my bank account!

I did in fact ring them up the day after pre-order to check if it had gone through as I got an authorisation text from Natwest. Turns out it was declined but because it wasn't cancelled I was able to pay again & keep my place in the queue.

Hopefully roll in 1st Dec!

Over at XDA the root toolkit is being developed nicely. Can simply unlock & root from it now and apparently the encryption fix will be added soon once Chainfire has confirmed his new non-kernel root method.

So I just read that carphone warehouse has uk exclusivity on the 64gb white. until February 2015. please tell me this doesn't include the play store

Both Anandtech and Android Authority mention that the screen has very low brightness levels (I'm not worried about colour accuracy as I like the 'popping' colours), about 250 nits!

I'll have to look into the whole nit thing, as I'm not sure if the scale is linear or....? So is 500 nits twice as bright as 250 nits?

Just seen this too, fineprint says not available elsewhere except for play store and motorola.co.uk so you're good.

Glad I didn't wait to try and get the 64gb CW as I wouldn't have gotten very far.
