great review andy

- with tap and go does it copy over data? as in pics and music?

Thanks. No, I think it will only 'sync' data from apps that have programmed to let Google do so. Most appear to need me to log in to still.

I thought I saw it mention something about transferring files using Bluetooth but it doesn't appeared to have transferred files/photos.

are those bits on the side not antenna's and not shock absorbers ?

I don't think so, but happy for someone to show us what they are for sure as I'm only really guessing at this point :)

For anyone that wants to compare their encrypted devices on AndroBench.

This is mine decrypted (64GB Hynix chip & Samsung ram)

Lines on the metal bands are to do with the antenna system. Shock absorption.... Lulz :p

Are you sure? The Z3 lines were for shock absorption...

"The corners {on Z3 Compact} have the same shock-absorbing properties as the ones on the new Xperia Z3"

Source. I saw a video somewhere showing it too.

But it's about the lines, not the material of the corner surely? The video (which I can't find now) made it look like the lines are almost rubbery and part of the absorption as the corner presses into it on impact.

As I say, I'm happy for someone to show me what they are. Do you have a source?

dad has an S5 on vodafone, and complains that there is literally no signal in the house. I'm sat here with 50% 4g signal :D

was worried signal could be an issue.

Screen looks lovely, no complaints about the colour of it. White looks white, dim looks white (not pink), bright looks argh my eyes!

Again Andy I really think you should research before making a video about this.

The "lines" being the antenna bands is something which is very well known...

We've been over that before. Can someone simply post a link about the lines? Thanks.
