got it from dbrand.com, it was sent on 2 Dec and arrived today. Just arrived in an envelope so there was no tax or anything.

Took a few days after ordering for them to send it as they haven't mass produced the blue carbon yet and it had to be custom cut for me. But I ordered a matt black one a month ago and it was sent out pretty quick, again had it around a week later.

Case seems nice, has 3 slots for cards whereas the casemate on the play store only has two. Also only cost around £15 off amazon. Phone is somewhat bulky in it though.

The sides are made out of metal, signals do not travel through metal, you need a material that allows signals to, i.e. plastic which is what the lines are.

No links needed, common sense is all that is needed ;)

The whole back is plastic... I'd like to see an explanation of why these are necessary for better reception.

This isn't something I've heard before. You want me to research. I'm trying. Googling doesn't give me an answer. You know, I'm asking where you got the info from is all.

I don't have a source but I had same impression about the likes. Isn't that why they put them on the iPhones, for signal?

green eyes perhaps?

Nope, I just stay informed and watch lots of reviews and comparisons and also visit the xda forum a lot.

General consensus is this is older generation OLED display than the Note 4/Galaxy S5 and unfortunately not a very good one.

Moto X 2014 seems to have the same problem, Motorola will replace your phone though when it burns-in so good luck with that.

Took a long time. :D

3 trips to DPD, a total of 2 and a half hours waiting there, plus 3 calls made by me to them, and one call from them to me. It's a joke, but I am tres happy.

Here's a few pics. I'm running a Spigen Ultra Hybrid cover, plus a Orzly tempered glass screen protector, both of which I fitted immediately out of the box. The screen protector looks like it really stands out in the pictures, but it's only from the light catching the edges of it while I was trying to get some decent lighting for the picture. It's nothing like that obvious for real, I don't really notice it at all in use.

That's because the edges of the screen are curved. And like I said it's really not too noticeable normally, it's only having the light on it like that highlighting the edges.

Even if you don't see it, your bound to feel it. Loads of apps now require you to swipe from the edges.

I assume you never buy a phone if you think all the horror stories we hear happen on all devices.

So some people have had issues and they've been replaced with no arguments. I'm sure I've heard worse things...

With the raised edge from the case I don't really notice. It really does not bother me.

andy_mk3 - I have bought the exact same screen protector as you AND I already know these don't cover the entire screen, well only the bit that is utilised by your fingers. Most of these tempered glass one's don't fit like the standard ones. But having already known this (as I have on many of my Samsung devices) I have too, bought the Orzly one. :o :) No trouble fitting it yes?
