Vodafone still being useless, need to go in to a store to try and get a code for the 3 months now tv sky movies pass. Some people have had the bit of paper with a code in the box, some haven't. Took a bit of convicing to get the guy on the phone to actually understand it's a separate offer to the entertainment stuff.

Website said after putting in my PAC code my number will be transferred by 4pm today, still not transferred. Just turned both phones off for 5 minutes, still no change.

Build quality on the N6 is exceptional!!!
Looks and feels really good in the hand.

Glad i changed my mind and went with the blue one! Looks super slick!!!

Anyone having second thoughts on the phone and thinking about returning it?

None at all. I got used to the size after about 20 minutes, coming from an HTC One.

I think in some situations the speakers sound slightly better than it but music is definitely better on the One. Screen is great maybe not the best around but I have no complaints the whites looked better on my One, But the blacks look perfect on this! Lollipop is fantastic although ambient display is annoying keeps turning on and off even when I'm no where near it and there isn't any notifications so I turned that off and installed lightflow to play around with the LED.

Camera is ok more than passable I would say, Maybe it will get better with updates who knows? Battery life so far running 5.0 build isn't too bad but not the best I'd imagine getting around 4hours 30mins average.

With those things in mind though I still love the device no other one ticks the boxes for me.

I know this is going to sound mental, but I thought it would bigger. Its more than managable to hold and I can use it easily with one hand. Comparing it to my nexus 7, which doesn't really work because of the largish bezel, it seems a whole lot smaller. Really happy with it. Software is very slick and very pretty. So simple to root and fiddle with. Love the speaker, and the general design.

Coming from a tatty s3 its a god send. Disk is so fast to install (encryption off) seems a good amount of ram, lots of apps open without it breaking a sweat.

The battery could be better. It suits me fine, I do cane it during the day and watch a fair while of YouTube. But by the time I get home it still has 20-30%. My s3 with extended battery would get to that at around lunch time so that bloody thing was always on charge.

I really think it's great. Such a crisp picture. Comparing it with my brothers iphone 5, i'm really not sure how I lived with a smaller screen.

No regrets.

Yeah, I probably will.

Breifly, on just a couple of days -

+ve :)

Screen
Speakers
Lollipop (very slick!)
Camera

-ve :(

Battery (probably the deal breaker, for me it's VERY bad)
Strangely waking all the time...
No tap to wake
No notification light
Unstable on a table (probably wont bother some, but I like to put it on my desk and tap away at it... this spins and rocks all over the place)

I really want to like it as it feels good in the hand and is sooooo slick (I'm still encrypted) but today I had to plug in to charge at 3pm as I was down to 28% and photo's would no longer backup with Dropbox. Now granted, I was taking a lot of photo's and video's, but it should have lasted better.

Yesterday after a normal shift at work I was at 41% when the OnePlus One would be just over 80% and the Note 4 probably around 75%. Again, granted, this was only day 2 and it will get better, but not by that much.

Until I saw this battery life, I was ready to keep it and relegate the Note 4 to the shelf.

As a side note, have they removed the option of turning off haptic feedback on Nav buttons? Can't find it :(

Sat on hold to the porting team for 45 minutes and gave up. Going to go into a store tomorrow to ask about the sky movies pass so will ask there about the port too.

lol i am on hold now and have been for 30 mins!

shocking and i remember why i left vodafone now! only reason i am back is the free moto360 and the 30% discount on my account.

bunch of W@@@@@@

I missed this movie pass thing, so please let me know what they say in store

What's the best guide to follow to remove the encryption?

Also does the removal stop updates?

Two things first,

1) Have you updated to 5.0.1?
2) You will lose all your data as it will factory wipe to decrypted

Yes, it will stop updates but they are easy to manually flash. I'm unlocked, rooted & decrypted on 5.0.1

the screen is awesome.

however coming from the N5 i find it a bit vibrant, and thinking i could do with turning it down a notch or two...

do you need root for that?
