Google Pixel 5

It looks like there's only 2GB of RAM between them? If that's the case I'd probably prefer the XL for extra screen real estate, unless there's a stupid massive notch there again.

Actually, looks like the XL is a 60Hz screen...

I think the differences are screen refresh rate, RAM and plastic body.

The pixel 5 has a smaller screen than the 4a...What are google doing.

Then the 5 has more ram than the 4a.

Google are crackers they don't know what they are doing.

Personally, I prefer a more compact phone.
I think the 5 screen size is ideal for my use case. Probably not for half the other users.
The more I look at the specs, The more I'm interested but it needs to be priced right for a mid range unit.

There is no formula to the perfect screen size.

I went from the small Pixel 3 from which the size I loved and vowed never to get a huge phone again.... To a oneplus 8 pro and now I'm perfectly fine with the size and even the curved sides.

I might get the 5, but not at £600+
Smaller phone than my 2XL, same size screen but with a lower resolution I can probably live with and a higher refresh which I'd like to try

At £600 I'd be tempted by the 5, although the pricing rumours are starting to make me think the 4a5g will be ~ £500, then Google wants the equivalent of another $200 on top, so maybe as high as£650 for the 5, hope I'm wrong.
