Yes, I do have Samsung Health, as I've got a Samsung watch. Just checked battery stats, and you're right, looks like it's been chewing through the battery, and possibly preventing the phone from entering sleep!

Managed to find the suggested solution again, in the permissions for the app turn off physical activity. The app doesn't really need this since it'll get the data off the watch anyway.

Done that, and it's made a huge difference, seems back to normal now - thanks. Hopefully Samsung release an update to fix it at some point.
 
Is the Pixel 6 still a mess or have most of the issues been fixed now? I'm looking for a new phone for my partner, she's currently using a Galaxy S8 which has pretty much had it now.

Currently trying to decide between the Pixel 6 and Samsung Galaxy S21 FE which are about the same price now.

Don't have any real issues with my 6 pro. The only thing I will say, is the modem definitely isn't fantastic. So if you live in an area with weak signal, it might be an issue.

the 6 is not a great phone, and with the 7 due in a six weeks i would wait for that

Too late. Ordered a Pixel 6. Looks like most of the issues have been fixed now so that's good. Will see how she gets on with it.

Not bothered about the 7 series as they'll likely be out her budget. I'll wait for those :)

It's only £24pm and she's not hugely into tech so it'll do her for a few years.
 
The 6 isn't that bad, I've had mine (Pro) since launch and I've had relatively few issues. Its better now than when it was released

same here...last 2 3 days since the update battery goes like nothing...was holding easy the whole day with pretty heavy usage on 12..

and runs hot as it used to in early days of pixel 6...

will give it a few days to settle in and possibly learn how i use the phone..

if not...factory reset ...

Did you read the replies regarding Samsung Health?
 
I'm now experiencing issues with phone calls in that the person on the other end can't hear me. I'm having to disconnect the call and try again. It happens when making and receiving calls. Android Auto also acts up and the phone ends up like a barbecue brick after using it in the car.

This Pixel 6 is by far the worst phone I've ever owned, it struggles with basic functionality. I can't wait to get rid of it.

I am also having the issue with phone calls since android 13 :/

Yes today I was on a call and it just cut off. I looked at the phone and it said "Call ended" in a bubble at the bottom of the screen. I rang them back and asked if they had put the phone down but they said they hadn't.
It cut off at about the 2 minute mark.
