For me it’d be the video quality(picture imo is comparable), storage speed and cpu speed. Rest the 5 is hands down better. 5 was easily Google’s best phone. I’m on iPhone 13 pro and no plans to change. 6 left a very sour taste to say the least.I'm really considering this myself. I'm trying to think of any benefit the 6 gives me? All I can think at the moment is the drawback of big heavy device with a terrible FPSBattery maybe, but that was never an issue on the 5, so... maybe low light camera?

The network issues persist for me, random drop outs. I've also experienced calls disconnecting as soon as I answer them. The phone is not 100% functional so I'm definitely on the lookout for another handset - I don't think I'll own this for a year and I was one of the pre order crew so I've already owned it 4.5 months too long.

Were you still using a screen protector? I've not had any FPS issues with mine.
Seconded, it's definitely strange how some people are having a nightmare with theirs.

Ah, i've actually been having problems with Three, even on my phone prior to the Pixel 6. Might be worth giving another network a shot, i think Three seem to be going downhill lately.
I did swap to GiffGaff that uses 02 network, and that's been much better signal wise than Three.
network issues are the main reasons ive sent mine for repair. hope they will give me a new one...bigger chance for me to sell it and see if i can get rest of cash for s22+ or iphone 13 pro

I think it's a software issue that they're unable to resolve. It also appears to rely on certain parameters therefore not everyone will encounter the problem - example: enabling 5G absolutely destroys my battery life to the point where I can't use it and have to disable it.
If it's a software issue it would impact everyone regardless of network. My 5G is always on and i've definitely not noticed any change in battery life. (Saying that, i didn't notice any battery life drop when 5G was on and i was on the Three network).
If you actually like the phone, disregarding the network issues, then i'd seriously contemplate looking at picking up a free/cheap sim from another network to test whether it's actually Three causing the issues.
my battery aint that great as it was at the start before all updates came out to fix network issues and never did anyway...
just seen @grudas post in iphone thread and his struggles with basic items like keyboard etc ...suppose you can get used ot it....or just go for samsung haha

Yep, that's what I'm considering. Samsung or back to OnePlus.
I did get used to it or found work-around but I still hate notifications, certain shortcuts or simply lack of control over things. Even as simple as saving a video from a website! it insists on playing and you have no way of saving it. I do OK with the phone now but would not hesitate to move back to android if a well designed and bug free phone came up. I really tried to like the pixel 6 but it had nothing on my pixel 5.
thanks for that. main point of i13 would be great battery...but after your reply am leaning that more towards samsung. watched MKHD today in hos studio and him and his team admitted that s22+ is better than pixel 6 and better all in android device
Well apart from the shutter lag, Samsung favours a slow shutter speed meaning any movement in your photo and it will blur.
Battery life is amazing on 13 pro. I have yet to kill it. Cameras are great etc. hardware is spot on too but software feels like it’s miles behind android in some areas and miles ahead in others. Only real way to figure out how you get on with one, is to try it. Which is what I’ve done.
s22 looks like a great device let down by mediocre battery life and slow camera - funny enough that is very irritating on day to day shooting as blur becomes an even bigger problem.
i13 is an expensive way to try a device
I just struggle with the dullness of iPhones.
They are great and I have one for work, but it feels like apart from changing the wallpaper they are all the same and I as a tech user I never really feel like I am the administratior of an iPhone.
With all the bugs and querks on Android I at least feel like I can customise and have control of the look and feel
Planning to get one of these as a birthday present for my other half, she's on an S10 at the moment. All reviews seem positive, and I can get some money (£60-120) off it with trade in, so let's call it about £500 all in. Seems a better option than anything else out there at that price point or am I missing a trick? She's not a gamer, so general quality of user experience, camera and battery life will be the key bits.
