Google Pixel 7/7 Pro & Pixel Watch

so I can detach from my phone as much as possible when say, at the gym
Yeah, the more I've thought about it, the more I like this idea. I went back to the Google store to look again and the watch is sold out though.

I did wonder about just buying a watch when they all hit the MM, probably around £200? Then I figure if trading in my Pixel 5 I get the P7P and watch for £510, so I'm only really paying £310 for the phone... I'm right on the verge of ordering from CPW but does anyone know what happens if the Watch really is out of stock? I know with headphones they sent a newer pair, but there's nothing newer here...

It'll work differently as a redemption reward I expect - you have to submit a claim during November (for a purchase by the 17th October) to receive the watch within 60 days of your claim.

On the Google Store, it just won't let you pick the watch at the moment. I guess they've sold through their immediate stock but I can't imagine they'd be so short sighted as to run a redemption programme for an item that would be completely out of stock before you can even claim it.

Edit - that being said, I'd be putting in my claim ASAP to stand a good chance of getting the colour you want. Leave it a few days and it'll just be the unpopular colours left I expect.

ive only seen 1 short one and the guy was very negative. ill see if i can find it.

Horrible bezel, 24 max battery life (more likely 12) Fitbit premium subscription required to make use of that side of it, comes with 6 months included.
overall basic. nothing outstanding.
This is my perception of it, admittedly without having seen it or touched it. It seems like such a poor effort given they've had so long to see what others have done. The bezel is ridiculous, the actual screen space is tiny.

Turns out my Klarna limit is £830, so I'm £19 short of being able to order the Pixel 7 Pro. Absolutely gutted, if only there was a way to pay a deposit or something, I can't even find a way to add credit to the store, and my wife's NHS 10% discount can't be used for the order

I wonder if that's why a lot of use was declined the credit? I didn't see a limit mentioned anywhere.
All discount codes have been removed by Google, gutted I missed out myself - took too long deciding on a colour!

Same. Was on live chat to one of the klarna support people and got told I had the same finance limit! Pretty annoying. Ended up doing 24 month 0% via John Lewis with no issues... Just means delay with getting the watch but I'll live.

Oh cool, I'll check John Lewis. Bit annoying though as I'll miss out on the £80ish store credit for being a Google One member and also the trade in for my Pixel 5.

If you add the Pixel 7 Pro to the basket and press 'no thanks' to the gift. Then add the watch afterwards, it will register as free in the basket and get around the 'out of stock' issue.

I popped into the local Currys at the weekend and the sales rep said the free gift isn't available in store. Is this correct? I can't find anything online to suggest it's an online offer only.

And how is the claim code received? Is it on the receipt or do they email it?

I'd prefer to do it in store if possible so the trade in value is taken off there and then

They're right in as much as you can't pick the watch up in store with the phone for free, which is probably where the confusion lies.

As long as you purchase it within the dates to claim the gift from Google then in store/online shouldn't make a difference.
