Indeed, the video from Matthew Moniz says it’s improved from the 6 and been perfect. Could be a case of YMMV.

Tempted to switch from Oppo back to Pixel, I had the 2XL,3XL,4XL and skipped the 5 and 6, currently got the Oppo Find X3 Pro, it's good but just miss some Google software stuff! That said the Oppo form factor is great, slim and light!
Wonder if it's worth the upgrade? (It would be the 7 pro I'd get)

I think in this day and age if you are solely relying on a YouTube review you’re doing yourself a disservice, especially if you have the option of having a returns window after being able to use the device for a period of time.

I primarily use YouTube reviews to check for little gems of info. Like Dave2D mentioned the mental camera bar getting scratched easily so I may put a skin on it.
