Google Pixel 7/7 Pro & Pixel Watch

Both of our Pixel watches are crackling with volume anything above 75%.
Any other Pixel watch owners noticing similar?
I'm perhaps being a bit dim, but I've not found a way to test the speaker, how are you using it? If I got YT Music, it wont play anything unless I connect to my headphones? Or is that what you're referring to?

In calls. Not tried music yet. Speakers seem strained though. As @kona786 mentioned the volume is loud enough below these levels. Just wanted to check that it was the standard speaker quality and not just the two watches we received.

Wife went for the Caseology Parallax for her 7 Pro. Here next to my ancient 6... :D

Anyone having troubles with charging or specific cables?

My p20 pro fast charger and cable doesn't seem to wanna work.

My powerbank won't charge with Huawei cable.

It's rather annoying these are high rated 5A USBC cables.. i can only seem to get garbage ones to work.

Yeah just noticed last night. The cable that could do a decent quick charge with my Huawei got me around 4% in 15-20 minutes. Placed the phone on the wireless smart charger and saw it go up 6% in the time it took to brush my teeth.

I remember we figured this out last time. On the Pixel 6.

It was the huawei USB cable that was the culprit. Try a different cable. It's the huawei cable that is non standard.

How long does it typically take Google to process refunds? They've had the phone since last Thursday and haven't processed it yet. However, the pro Buds and charger that were also sent back were processed within a day of them recieving them. I messaged Google on Saturday and they confirmed they had received it and said to wait 48-72 hours before getting back in touch. If there was an issue would I have heard by now?

I've just received an email from Currys telling me their 'specialist engineers' have deemed my device to be non working and they would like to offer me £200 less money for the device. The phone was in pristine like new condition and was in use until I posted it to them. I've refused their offer and told them to post it back. If it comes back in any way different to how it was sent to them, I'll be off to the small claims court.
