Google Pixel 7/7 Pro & Pixel Watch

I've just received an email from Currys telling me their 'specialist engineers' have deemed my device to be non working and they would like to offer me £200 less money for the device. The phone was in pristine like new condition and was in use until I posted it to them. I've refused their offer and told them to post it back. If it comes back in any way different to how it was sent to them, I'll be off to the small claims court.

Anyone got the pre-paid trade in package from Currys to send an old phone off yet? Done it twice now and still not received it. Help just says keep redoing it which is not very helpful.

Worrying. I sent them my working but screen smashed 3XL worth £8 anyway so not entirely bothered, but I want the £150!
 
Has anyone else had issues with the messaging app. My phone number only just changed on it this morning. I can send messages but I can't receive them. Until I realised this was happening this morning when I checked my old phone and found it was still getting them I had no idea. Having now changed things I still have no idea why I'm still not getting them.

I've had this with number ports in the past, it can get a bit out of sync for a few hours.
 
I've had the phone a week before realising it was happening as most messages come through WhatsApp. That's when I took steps to get the right number on the app and only just managed it a few hours go. Got a message from Vodafone come through saying welcome to chat once it changed after taking updates off the app but my Mrs still can't send me a message. At least she receives them from the correct number now. I just hope like you say in the next hour maybe day or so this all syncs up. After a search I can see a lot of Americans having this issue. Some can't sort it. Some have had to contact their provider to do some sort of re-sync. I ported my number from BT to Vodafone.

I'd guess screenburn, they just use mce checker.

Hi everyone hope you enjoying you new gadget, I got a question I returned my pixel 7 I got used to s22 so the pixel 7 felt big in the hand lol anyway I returned the device plus the watch last week and DHL shows on tracker that it was delivered 19th today the 24th I chatted to online help and asked about my refund to which Google replied that it hasn't reached the warehouse and even though it's showing delivered I needed to contact DHL regarding this issue, so I replied back that the online tracker shows both devices have reached the warehouse as per the tracker and the proof of postage also and it's not my problem of warehouse and DHL have a problem that's between themselves and it's GOOGLE that needs to contact DHL regarding this issue apparently my case has been escalated to higher support, any advice will be welcome on what to do next ? Thanks in advance

I added Revolut card to Google wallet stuck the shortcut to turn it off and on in the settings but it seems it's perma on.

Clicking the shortcut button on/off just takes me to the wallet.

On previous phones I'd have to have NFC on to use cards o can't seem to find a similar setup? Is NFC perma on?

I'm scared to have my phone out during payments incase it tries to pay twice :p or use wrong card

Did you purchase the postage or was it provided by Google?

Just leave it on. I've never had issues. The phone has to be unlocked for it to work, so more secure than your bank card

As far as I'm aware that means the contract sits with them when it comes to DHL therefore they should be doing the chasing.
As far as you're concerned it's arrived and it's now their problem.

Saying that it may be similar to Amazon and other big companies, just because it's marked as delivered and sat in a loading dock somewhere doesn't mean it's been scanned by anyone in the warehouse yet. My last returns to Amazon took the best part of 2 weeks after being delivered before anything was done with it on their side.

I posted mine at royal mail. Never got a tracking number. Asked for receipt and they said I don't get one with this type of postage. Might call them. Returned for credit with Google.

Did it have a pre-paid label? You might find there was a tracking number on that, there was for my Currys return.
