Fingers crossed they do, then I can chuck it on eBay and it'll make spending on the Pro less painfulRumour is they are going to chuck one in as a pre-order bonus on the 7 Pro.

This will be intresting if they would do thisRumour is they are going to chuck one in as a pre-order bonus on the 7 Pro.
I don't know where people get this kinda crap. Phones not even out yet lol.Shame about the battery life being allegedly terrible. 24hours isn't enough imo.
Watch he means I think.I don't know where people get this kinda crap. Phones not even out yet lol.
Ah I see, yeah 24h is a fair chunk below what everyone else is doing. I expect it'll take a few years for Google to catch up, if they don't scrap it before.Watch he means I think.
more likely outcome. same with tablets. the market just isn't there in the same way it is with phones, and the reason to grab that market for google isn't there either, other than to stop people who buy apple watches, then buying apple phones if they had previously had android.if they don't scrap it before
Yeah I meant the watch.. and yes you're right every chance Google will abandon it as another experiment their customers pay to test for them! Hopefully not thoughI don't know where people get this kinda crap. Phones not even out yet lol.
I don't understand Google hardware. Everyone seems to want pure Android software and 'the Pixel experience' so why don't they just make a really good, high end flagship that's on par with Samsung etc?more likely outcome. same with tablets. the market just isn't there in the same way it is with phones, and the reason to grab that market for google isn't there either, other than to stop people who buy apple watches, then buying apple phones if they had previously had android.
One of life’s great mysteries.I don't understand Google hardware. Everyone seems to want pure Android software and 'the Pixel experience' so why don't they just make a really good, high end flagship that's on par with Samsung etc?
Up until the pixel 6, they always offered older hardware and were missing IP ratings, wireless charging and various other things that the others had, just seemed like a poor effort.
The Pixel 6 was getting there, if it wasn't for the 'meh - That'll do' approach they took on the modem and fingerprint sensor.
Given the money and engineers they have, why not dominate?
What do Samsung do in that situation?I don't understand Google hardware. Everyone seems to want pure Android software and 'the Pixel experience' so why don't they just make a really good, high end flagship that's on par with Samsung etc?

Try harder, like they use to in the old days, back when there was competition. What do Samsung do in that situation?

I've convinced myself I'd be happy with a 7, but the pro would definitely tempt me if it had the watch so I could do the same. Hopefully eBay won't be flooded with them!Fingers crossed they do, then I can chuck it on eBay and it'll make spending on the Pro less painful
Yeah but then what do Google do once samsung do this? Serious question. I get your point, but it if Google try and be the Samsung for android phones, then Samsung get screwed. Do they put more money in to R&D? Do they build their own os, or start pushing harder away from android? Not that it will work, but it could happen and that's an issue for android.Try harder, like they use to in the old days, back when there was competition.
S20, S21, S22...such incremental updates because they have the majority of the market. This is coming from a Samsung fan
It's Apple's entire business model - do as little as possible for as much money each year, knowing the iFans will just wave their money on release day regardless. Samsung aren't quite as bad, there are at least some reasonable improvements but they're not trying as hard.
I wish their pixel A series were just essentially updated versions of the pixel 5.Pixel 5 does everything I could possible want on a phone really
Google working on small flagship next year.I wish their pixel A series were just essentially updated versions of the pixel 5.
I love this phone too much and will struggle to ever replace it
