Only reason I was looking was that after a bit of research into my random pink line issue, some P8 users are on their 3rd/4th device with the issue coming back each time.

Probably not, enhanced trade in prices seem to come up when a new model is first released for a bit so next time Google will offer it will probably be after the 10 launch

Well, it's not that trade-in value dropped. They had a special offer on. Basically two offers overlapped and I thought it rather obvious BF deals wouldn't be able to match the amazing offer they had on. The 9 Pro I bought was half-price. No way would BF be 50% off...
 
Requested support through my Pixel 8 last night for the increasing occurance of the pink line down my screen. At first they were looking for me to be without a phone whilst it went to a repair centre for 5-10 days. I stated in the bpast I was sent a replacement and once received, I would send in my defective device. They agreed and offered an advance replacement so should be here in a day or two. From start to finish was 14 minutes.
 
My other half told me the new visual voicemail on her P8...I dont have it on my 8pro...seems like its carrier related and ID mobile doesnt support it..yet...

I had never heard of it, Had a look online and looks like a handy feature. I can't switch it on on EE.
 
VOXI use visual voicemail but state on their FAQ's 'Visual Voicemail isn't currently available for Android phones' The date on the answer is the 30th May 2024.
I cannot switch it on in my setting yet. I hope I can soon as it's looks to be a lot better than having to call and press menu numbers to get to the actual message you want to listen to.
Pixel 8 pro.

Can anyone recommend a flat style wireless charger for the Pixel 8? All the ones I can seem to find don't seem to offer the full power charging (or even 15w if thats the max for Qi) and also be the flat style (like a coaster)
 
Picked up two Pixel 8's in BF for myself and the wife. I gave my 7 to my son and the wifes 7a is only good for the bin as the screen and battery are knackered.

Paid £216 each which was quite a deal!
 
I thought this would be worth commenting on. I got the full trade in value sending in my pixel 5. I was doubtful as many have said it never pays out the estimated trade in.
 
This thread in General Discussion got me wondering if it's possible to hide apps or protect them with a pin/pattern/fingerprint lock on the Pixel 8. As far as I can tell it's not possible, at least not without a third-party app.

Am I wrong or have I missed something?

Make sure you're on android 15 then you can turn on theft protection and private space
