Wow that price hurts me ... I was really up for the pixel xl why is it that much more expensive!

Heh, no thanks, I'll see what the Galaxy S8 offers, it is almost certainly going to support assistant and the other connected gubbins, better camera and be cheaper than £819 AND have an SD card slot.

I'm more interested in Google WiFi and Google home, as I do intend on connecting up various things like door bells, switches and lights. Those things seem much better priced. Also like the new VR headset, £79 is a great price.

So sod the Pixel phone, bring on the other stuff.
