Google Pixel and Pixel XL

So disappointed desperately need to replace my note 4 which I have been using for about a month with a badly cracked screen. Looks like there is nothing interesting out this year.

i like the glass. Like it on my 6P and like it even more on the Pixel. i think the launcher/theme of pixel looks tacky. the rounded everything did not look good at all

Yes the design is very nice actually, I like the tapered thickness from bottom to top as well.

It is essentially an overpriced flagship. By that I mean, it's priced high, but lacks the features of the often better and cheaper competition flagship.

More thoughts:

After sales service:

When something goes wrong with your iPhone, you go to the Apple Store. When you need help with the Pixel, you’ll open up the settings and hit the support tab. Google is running a 24-hour chat and phone support service — and when you call in, you can opt to show the rep your screen so they can walk you through whatever’s going wrong.

Design:

From a distance I think it looks like an iPhone. The iPhone comparison is no accident. And so is the pricing: the Pixel fits in the high-end Android market precisely where Samsung’s exploding Note 7s left a hole.

Design-wise, there’s no denying the iPhone’s influence. There are differences, of course: the bezel on the back is angled instead of curved. The fingerprint sensor is on the back, too, inside a square glass “shade” that helps you align the phone in your hand. The phone is also very slightly thicker at the top than the bottom to fit the camera without requiring a camera bump.

There is no Note 7 hole - people that wanted the Note 7 before the disaster still want one now. Samsung can't make them quick enough.

No average Joe know's about these Google phone's. And by their lackluster design and features, no one will give them a second look.
