Google Pixel and Pixel XL

Live chat said it was on backorder. E-orders on the phone confirmed its ready to leave the warehouse and due to be delivered tomorrow.

Worth checking over the phone if you have to cancel time of or whatever as in my experience Live chat are pretty clueless (and don't actually have access to half the back end systems).

Apologies. Thought you were talking about Google Live Chat feature for Support. Missed your reference to CW.

Loosing the will to live with CPW.

Ordered Silver XL 128GB and received a text saying order was delayed until November.

Checked their website and saw that the Black version was showing delivery on or by the 26th October. Hey presto, i'll call them and simply switch colour.

Called them, they need to cancel the order and carry out another credit check. Fine, no worries. It failed, along with an internal security check.

What the actual ****?

Bearing in mind this is a PAYG phone, the phone amount is being paid in full and the order went through absolutely fine before.

Coming from the Note 7 fiasco to this. Are there ANY phone manufactures or networks who are actually decent?

My Google Pixel XL 32 GB phone just shipped from Google Play Store!

Just received email confirm.

No sign of my Black XL 128 shipping yet. I'll be interested to hear what you think of it.

Edit: I just got my email as well, it has shipped

No experience with CW. Would it make sense to get a refund from CW and put in order with EE? I would normally have said just go with the Google Play Store, which is what I have historically done with Nexus phones before the Pixel, but they are out of stock now and quoting deliveries in late November.

Just gave CPW a call to double check my black 128gb XL and it's still due in store for collection tomorrow.

If CPW have genuinely been let down by Google then you can't blame them too much but you'd have thought they'd update their site. I've just taken a look and they're still advertising the silver model (both sizes) for delivery on the 26th.

Black is.

Silver shows November 22nd on my PC.

I have no problem if its delayed, I do have an issue with awful customer service!

Went to EE but they only do monthly contracts, I wanted to buy out right.

Just received a text off Vodafone - my upgrade has been processed which means my handset has been shipped. Should be waiting for me in store tomorrow morning.

More custom cases available through the Play Store. I ordered mine last night.

Should we expect London Pop Up store or will Google add to its Store within a Store concept at PCWorld Currys?
