Google Pixel and Pixel XL

USA Pixels from the Play Store are now either shipping in 4 to 5 weeks or out of stock and wait-listed.

The Pixel XL continues to be out of stock in all colors and storage capacities. Current purchasers of the larger sized Pixel are just placed on a wait-list with no estimated availability date provided.

Verizon is completely sold out of the 128GB Pixel XL due to online sales demand. The smaller Pixel is still available in both 32GB and 128GB sizes.

I expect a similar picture at EE and Carphone Warehouse to develop here. If you are thinking of buying in store, esp for the XL, I believe it would be wise to get there early.
 
Mine is out for delivery. Not sure if that's to the store or to my home address but it's on it's way!

I'll be amazed if this 128GB phone turns up after all the hassle with CPW

Pixel software and security update policy announced by Google yesterday:

For software updates, Google has pledged to provide them for at least two years to Oct 2018. After Oct 2018 Google no longer obligated to provide them but may still decide to do so. Similar to Nexus devces, Google has often provided software updates beyond the date it first announced as an expiration date.

For security updates, Google has pledged to provide them for at least three years after launch, or Oct 2019, or for 18 months after the phone is discontinued, whichever is longer.

IMO decent laptops start at about £400 which barely leaves you with enough to buy 2 consoles

It is a crazy price though but hey it is what it is. If only the pound was stronger......

Moto G4 - £150
PS4 - £150 (been plenty of amazing deals on HUKD lately)
XB1 - not sure but i reckon sub £200 by now if ps4 is

Leaving £320 for a laptop, argos clearance on ebay sells "refurbs" which are basically ones that have been opened and sent back so cannot be sold as new any more for dirt cheap, easily get a £500 laptop for £320.

The Moto G4 does everything you need a phone to do, it's what you would call an 8/10 phone. No it doesn't have the best screen, processor or camera but the ones it does have aren't crap either better than average but not the best.

This has been on the google store since the phone went on sale..
 
I've had confirmation mine is being dispatched for delivery to store tomorrow.

I'm still thinking I might call a few CPW to see if they have any in stock for me to grab before work.

Is anyone receiving their Pixel XL from CPW today? I ordered mine (sim free) on the 18th with a delivery estimate of 26th October. Yesterday, on their site that changed to 21 October. Now its showing as in stock..

I called them, and according to the customer service on the phone, the Pixel XL has been delayed until 26th due to Google to sending them stock yet. Customer service via Live Chat says that it will be in stock tomorrow.

Im not sure that anyone at CPW knows what is going on. I'm tempted to cancel my original order and then re-order online, since its showing as "in stock".

Since, you got a DPD tracking confirmation, then you're in luck! But I've only have the CPW confirmation email.

When did you order yours?

I'm getting frustrated with their customer service. Every individual I speak to has different information.
