Google Pixel and Pixel XL

Just ordered a Pixel and am now on the hunt for a case. What cases have you all gone for? The Google ones don't seem to be offering much protection, more aesthetic.

Ive bought the Spigen rugged Armor pretty good case with good corner protection only in black though

I think new batteries need a few cycles so give it afew days?

Whats the problem? the small top button activates the screen the longer button below will adjust volume

54% here - went off charge at 6am and 2hrs SOT - been in sketchy reception most of the day though

Mine feel ok.

Battery I'm down to 80% from 7.15am or so when I unplugged the phone. Listened to music over Bluetooth for about 2hrs. Other than the music not used it much so far today. Oh I got 5" Pixel

Not particularly impressed with battery here (Pixel) - 37 minutes of SOT on 6 hours off charge and I'm at 71%. WhatsApp Web is running but I haven't done anything intensive. Hoping it will improve.

Why is the finger print reader on the back? What if you want to unlock it from your desk without picking it up?

You use a pin.

And re the battery - currently at 72% after 2 hours screen on time.

That would more than do me. I have only managed to fill 11 gigs including Android OS in 2 years. Mind you I keep most of my stuff either on my NAS or Google Drive. I don't see the point of either buying lots of phone storage or storing much on your phone anyway. You can load a couple of movies up, watch them then delete etc.

Having used front and back I like back expect when its at a desk. For everything else it just feels better. my finger naturally rests there, were as I have to stretch my thumb for a front finger print scanner then move my thumb back for the touch screen.

My volume button feels exactly the same up and down.

Case ordered from google too. Was going to go with a plain colour but since you cannot order them then, decided to go with at art one.

Then you hit the power button and unlock it with the pin.
Having used both options (iPhone 6 and nexus 6p) I MUCH prefer the fingerprint scanner residing on the back.
Apart from when my phone is on a desk

A few nights ago I noticed Google Live Cases for the XL went "live". I chose a personal photo of the family and designed the case around it using this site. I think it is real cool but is expensive at £ 35. You decide but to me that adds something quite individualistic. By the way, there is a wait time on the order. I chose it on 18 Oct and delivery is 4-8 November. But well worth it.
