** GORGEOUS NEW LG 4K MONITOR - LG 27GN950-B PRE-ORDER NOW **

Do you think this is a good option for the Series X? 1440p/120 and 4k 60? Lets be honest no next gen console titles besides old titles upgraded etc hitting 4k 120. I have the LG27GN850 ordered but the freesync support via hdmi caps at 100, not even sure what effect this will have. Never realised how confusing monitors are. Have a 65 LG oled in living room, this monitor is for the WFH office may I add.

Hi guys, can you stream netflix in 4k with this monitor in win10? I just got my monitor this week and I just can't enable ultra HD in the windows netflix app. That's so weird.

You need to download the Netflix app I believe from the Microsoft store......or use edge

edit....I misread, are you already using the app?

Yeah I am already using the app.
My cpu is 3700x and gpu is rtx 2080 and I am running with displayport 1.4 cable (DSC enabled). Just can't stream netflix in 4k whatsoever. Other platforms (youtube etc.) are fine though? Are you sure you can definitely stream 4k in Netflix?

Even assuming you have the hardware and internet connection to enable 4K streaming, you have to use the right software. You can’t just head to Netflix’s website in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Netflix won’t stream in 4K with those browsers.

To stream Netflix in 4K on a PC, you have to use Windows 10—you don’t do this on Windows 7. You must use either use Netflix’s website in the Microsoft Edge browser or stream with the Netflix app from the Store.

Update: You may also need to install the HEVC Video Extensions package from the Windows Store. This was previously included by default on Windows 10, but no longer seems to be. NVIDIA says this is necessary if you’re using a Windows 10 system installed using the Fall Creators Update or later. If you installed an earlier version of Windows 10 and updated, you would presumably still have the HEVC Video Extensions installed.

Looks like my windows system doesn't have the HEVC codec. After I installed it in Microsoft store I can finally stream 4k in Netflix. Thanks Don!

Well arrived from the Indian this AM. So far very impressed!
Looks great, especially close up, like Mac "retina" display.
HDR ok, certainly better than the HDR400 stuff.
I'm usto a 32 so looked small initially, so have just moved it closer :)

mine should come this week, any profiles i should install regarding menu setting etc ?

I disabled automatic standby in the OSD as it’s set to four hours by default and I don’t think it monitors your usage of the display like the built in windows standby does. Might be wrong though.
