** GORGEOUS NEW LG 4K MONITOR - LG 27GN950-B PRE-ORDER NOW **

Hey guys, new to OC's forums. I would like to ask if any of you know an ETA on this display? i ordered on the 29th September and saw they delayed ETA's on the 23rd. Was hoping to get one in the next coming weeks to pair with my soon 3080 Strix!:D Thanks.

Also slightly frustrated to see a competitor has stock for this display.. sad times.

This batch was delayed until next week. Should be able to fulfill 80% of all pre-orders before Halloween.

May the odds be forever in your favor!

If you miss out in October I have a date of "Early November" for the rest of the pre-orders currently on the books.

This week LeonRea246.

Oc have been having bits of stock for a wile where as that other guys this seems to be there first batch

Stock doesn't seem widely available anywhere tbh I think there getting sold faster than they can be made lol

I just dropped my preorder on oc and just sat back n waited for the confirmation my batch was due around the 28th oct as far as I can tell. I preorderd from ocuk on the 20th Sept and it turned up on the 3rd oct
24 days earlier than expected

I preordered mine from ocUK on the 10th September with an ETA of “October”. Came into stock on 1st October and I received it here in Jersey on the 6th October. I wasn’t expecting stock until mid October so got mine earlier than expected.

I decided to get a new display from the spicy site while OCUK 'tested' my RMA - new display turned up today and wow its night and day compared to the first one. Hardly any IPS glow, gap between bottom of screen and bottom bezel is minimal, and more importantly no bleed/light lines/whatever it was.

Got confirmation from OCUK today also that RMA approved so I've gone with a refund rather than replacement now.

Had a play with settings and kept most as is on Gamer 1 but adjusted brightness down to 25. Running on a 3080FE everything looks b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l.!

Yeah the IPS glow is a given, but I had a really bad 'bleed' of some sort in bottom right screen - If I could figure out how to post images I'd show you. But all good now- i was contemplating not swapping it due to having to wait again so really happy I got a new one yesterday/today.

Is this the same as I posted? 2-3 dots in the lower right corner all at the bottom, that is brighter than the rest of the screen?

FWIW I don’t.
I do hear mine, it’s not very noisy though.
My system has custom water cooling with the radiator fans running at low, so it is very quiet.

I depends how quiet your room.. fans inside of monitors are getting pretty common though.. especially with higher refresh rates
I do not have any experience with this myself but i imagine it would be bugging me as my pc is really silent

Yeah I agree. It’s not even close to the ROG Swift PG27UQ, which in my opinion was horrible.

Received mine yesterday, but when I plugged it in my machine immediately became unstable, BSOD repeatedly and even once I had resolved that issue the performance was terrible. So I decided to nuke windows and reinstall from scratch and now its running like a dream! I can't hear any fan noise from it and have 0 BLB (other than the expected IPS glow) or stuck/dead pixels. I still need to fiddle with the calibration as so far I've only had time to reduce the brightness to something less than the nuclear inferno it was set to out of the box.

The one thing I have not reinstalled yet is Logitech G-Hub as I suspect this might have been the cause of or at least involved in the instability. Is anyone running that with this monitor? I have also gone back 1 gfx driver version and daren't update them yet! :D
