**GOT AN EVGA GRAPHICS RELATED QUESTION OR NEED SUPPORT - ASK HERE!!**

Hi Rossi,

on the 690 are the new white ones that can get squeezed. If you do not have them I would suggest to go for the 0.5mm ones.
At the SLI connector is a small hole where you can look directly on a RAM chip, there you can see pretty good that the pad get squeezed to less then 1mm when the cooler is mounted.

Cheers

I have a EVGA 3gb GTX 660ti ftw+ edition graphics card and was thinking of switching to display port.

After reading up about DP, i was told there's no point using it if it has the same bit rate as my dvi port. Does anyone know what it is on my GPU and whether it is worth changing to DP.

hi all,

Whats the best way to connect 2 x EVGA 4gb 670 to 3x 1920x1200 dell monitors
Can I attach 1 from each display port to monitor dp and one to dvi,

cheers

Hello,

in SLI one of the cards is mostly running hotter then the other. In this case I would suggest to connect one to each card and have a look which is running warmer and then connect both screens to the card that is running cooler, if possible.

Hello, at this point the quality of both connections are the same. DP gives you also audio.

Thanks, I've sent an email to both addresses with a link to this thread and the Paypal transaction ID.

Had an email back the following day asking me to confirm my address, which I did straight away. Had another email back quickly saying I would get a tracking number in the afternoon. Since then (23rd April) nothing...sent another email on 29th April, but yet to hear back.

Isnt this thread just what Evga Forums is for , which im signed up for Gibbo?

Hi, technically it is the same but not everybody want to sign up at EVGA. OCUK is also one of the biggest and most important forums in the UK so we wanted to offer the option to also contact us directly here.

Hi all, I am trying to find out if my eVGA 680FTW 4gb GPUs have thermal padding, or just TIM under the backplates. I just bought two EK-FC waterblocks for them and want to reuse my backplates. I scoured several forums and found the answer for the correct screws (m3-8mm)for the backplates. I just needed to find out if they use thermal pads (thickness ?), of just TIM under the backplates before I install the waterblocks.

Thanks

Ok, thanks for the answer. I'll try and be very carefull when removing the backplate and hopefully I can re-use the existing ones as I dont know what thickness they are so I could order some extra ones. Thanks
