Hello,

at which point of the order do you get this error exactly? I just tried it with a normal user account and had no problem to order it. Have you already tried another browser or cleaning the coockies?

Thanks for your reply.
It appeared when i clicked on "Checkout with Paypal" using Chrome. Managed to us IE and got past it on to the next section.
However, i don't actually have a Paypal account and don't want to sign up for one. Is there any way that i can just pay by card? Or are EVGA going to move these on to re-sellers (OCUK)?

Hi Rossi

I will chat to Gibbo today and see what we can do about bringing a few of these in for purchase through Overclockers. I will advise once I have spoken to him.

Ben

I turned on my PC this morning to find my 2 and a bit year old GTX570 has gone for a burton.
Blue artifacts on screen during the BIOS screen and the windows logo, and then the desktop never shows up, just a black screen.

I need to drop in another card to make sure that it definitely is at fault before I RMA it, but assuming it is faulty should I expect a like for like replacement or a 6xx card?

Also, would it be a brand new card or a refurb?
(I was stung with 2 faulty refurbed cards from BFG before they went under and bought an EVGA card on the excellent customer support experiences here - so I think I laready know the answer.)

Dominik,

Rearding my previous messages about the 8800GT - the card I purchased from Overclockers is >3 years old - do you offer returns (i.e. replacement) for a card this old?

PS: how do I find the S/N on this card?

Mark

Hi, if you are able to test the system with a different card I would suggest to give this a try. If the cards are faulty just send an email to [email protected] with the S/N then we will open a RMA ticket. At this point we can not say what kind of replacement you will receive because this is depending on the actually stock at the moment the cards arrive in our office. If you get refurbished 500 Series cards as replacement they will be fully tested and if they get faulty within 30 days we will also pick them up again that you will not have further cost on this.

Hello Mark, there we have to take a look how old the card exactly is. You can find the S/N Sticker at the backsite of the card and a copy of it is at the backsite of the box. The EVGA S/N Sticker should be the biggest on the card and the only one that do state S/N and P/N on the same sticker.

Hi EVGAdominik,

I have spoken to you before on my post regarding a faulty graphics card. I have some more information that I can give you in order for you to see whether the card is faulty or not.

I have taken some videos of what is happening on the screen when I am in game and also when testing with the EVGA OC Scanner. I have put these videos on YouTube, My user name on YouTube is 1991boyce.

Any advice would be great :)

Hi Sam,

if you have squares like this it would point to faulty RAM. You can test the whole system with prime95 to make sure all other components are working fine. With the precision Tool you can massivly downclock the RAM of the card to see if the problem will still exist. Mostly if one of the RAMs is faulty it will work better if it is downclocked. (only to see if this is the issue) If it will run better with downlclocked RAM a RMA would be needed

Thank you for your reply,

OK so just download Prime95, run it and if it still fails then downclock the RAM usage on the GPU?

Any specific settings that Prime95 uses as I haven't used this piece of software?
