As we all know, 90% of people love silver trim in a car. Everywhere. Can't get enough silver trim.

After 5 years of thinking 'I actually dont really like silver trim. It's cold, uninviting and just generally out of place in this sort of car' I finally decided to do something about it and managed to snatch a nice set from Ebay from a 2003 E39.

I'm actually convinced you'll agree I've done the right thing and that it all now looks so much better inside and I bet nobody thinks it looked better before ;)

I've also sourced a full leather centre console as well, but I'll be fitting that at some point in the future as its a bit more involved and might as well be done at the same time as I fit my navigation system.

As you can tell taking photos is not something I am particularly adept at, but you get the idea.

I'm not suprised that it will sell for more. British people are bland when it comes to buying cars.

What colour is the leather on the centre console that you've sourced?

You are getting old (a 17 year old would never get a wood trim) ;)

Looks good though, but the most impressive part is how tidy that car is!

How hard was it to fit? It looks much better, I have to say. I never really liked silver when used as trim on cars, dark colours (piano black etc) or wood is much better.

It pretty much clips off and clips back on - the only trick bit is the radio flap (Which was a huge PITA) and the centre console which had loads of screws.

Much better in that environment, makes it look a lot more premium. Good work. I look forward to seeing the dash :)
