Got wood?

As lovely as it does indeed look now i can't say im convinced, wood trim is still rover 600 old man with pipe and driving gloves territory to me :(

I am rather fussy when it comes to interior colours of cars though, i could never bring myself to own a car with seats or trim in that tan colour or red. However i am perfectly happy with the cheapest and rattliest of Japanese interiors, go figure...

I think the now curious mix of old-man-Jag wood interior combined with dished 18 inch wheels, bodykit and sports seats sums up exactly what I like about the car so much. It's a bit of everything :D

How come there's two light switches on both sides of the dash? Or is the one partially obscured by the wheel something else?

After 5 years of thinking 'I actually dont really like silver trim. It's cold, uninviting and just generally out of place in this sort of car' I finally decided to do something about it and managed to snatch a nice set from Ebay from a 2003 E39.

I'm actually convinced you'll agree I've done the right thing and that it all now looks so much better inside and I bet nobody thinks it looked better before ;)

I think it looks a lot better with the silver.

With the wood it just looks old fashioned rather than modern. It's like the 1980s when every single car, Rover 200s, 400s and such like slapped some wood veener into the interior to try and make it look more upmarket. It just looks old fasioned.

I think it looks ten times better but I am old Gypo so you may want to re evaluate your decision. :p

I hate the wood thing as a general rule but a nice BMW in fantastic condition can obviously carry it off.

TBH if Fox has decided its the way to go then you can be sure enough research has gone into it for it to be done only if it will improve the car!!

I'm trying to imagine a buyer coming round & viewing it & freaking out because IT'S NOT ****** FACTORY  + :p

I think I'm on the silver side of the fence but I can see where your coming from. :)
