Found the problem, looks like Miss K and I won't be hosting consistatly for about a week.

Just did an ISP speed check and my download averages around 120kbs and my upload is 220kbps.

Well just finished writing an essay and decided to join you guys for some GOW, but my xbox booted GOW downloaded an update then crashed. So now i have 3 red lights.

And 2 months out of warranty

quick question. Is Gears of War multiplayer on xbox live only, or can you play split screen using the same machine in co-operative, deathmatch etc

You can play split screen on MP player matches yeah, IIRC i think you need a guest live account, cant remember though!
