cheers for the linkage dreeder :) now all i need is some praccy at the track!

i'm SamuearlJackson on gplrank mpemba. the spa replay from the 1st season involves a total butt clenching moment into stavelot where me, 355 and yossarian are all side by side! how we all stayed on the track i don't know :) quality viewing tho :)

Anyone up for a bit of per-race practice today/tonight or in the morning, Ive just built up me new pc and want to check its stable for online racing before the big season opener tomorrow.
 
Now would be a good time to throw down the gaunlet to you all.
Just did a 2.04.95. not a brilliant lap, but still quite respectable. I'm sure SJ is more than capable of beating it though :)

we'll see - give me a couple of hours and i'll try and get back to you. i need to get my tiscali connection sorted and then get winvroc up and functioning. then i can praccy the track!

My best is a 2:04.069 now :) - using a monza setup, but it was really hard to drive, so I am using a nurby setup now, best with that is a 2:04.38, I can do more laps with the nurby setup cos I don't crash so much.

I will be up for a race tonight, as long as it isn't too late.

Whoops, looks like i got a bit too cocky in my last post. I must be doing something wrong, cos i was trying quite hard before. :eek:

back to the drawing board for me :rolleyes:
 
2:06 is my best so far but havnt really managed to get a lot of time on the track.
Its a nice track as you can get your car sideways round most corners :D
the benchmark is 2:04 so you should be aiming to beating that :)

should be able to squeeze a bit more out with some setup tweakage, :cool:

what car are you gonna drive SJ, the green rocket?

i assume you are talking about my thread in RSC. its in there


BTW IMPORTANT:
we still havent decided on race length and damage. see the thread in the league forum.

i reckon int short for all races

Mpemba you gonna get a joystick/wheel ???? 2:21 aint bad for keyboard :)
 
I assume the race will be starting at the usual time tonight? 19:45 meet in the room, and the server starts at 20:00.

Time for some more practice I think.

And Mpemba, you gotta get a wheel/joystick, I was on keys for ages and got a wheel cos my fingers always started to hurt. Getting a wheel has improved the game loads for me, and has made me faster.
