9070 should definitely be in tier D

As should the 7900xt in my opinion

Both aren't as fast as a 4070ti super which is in the tier below, just in raster.

At ray tracing the 4070ti super is loads faster than the 7900xt and decently faster than the 9070.

So it looks bizarre for that card to be in the tier below.

Or maybe the 4070ti super should be bumped up? But then that's awkward as the 5080 is a lot faster yet in the same tier. It's probably best of it's the fastest card in tier D.

It makes sense to me for tier C to be 5080, 4080, 4080 super, 7900xtx and 9070 XT, and for the 7900 XT and 9070 to drop to tier D.

I can see a case being made for a 5080 going tier b. But a 5070Ti? No chance...
I agree: sorry, I was not clear, I meant 5070Ti should maybe elevated in the order of Tier C i.e. above the 4080. I accept this is fine margins though

Won't please everyone, but:

10/03/25 - Added 5070, moved Geforce 6xx and Radeon HD7xxx to legacy table, rejigged top tiers
Never please everyone it is more a helpful guide than this is set in stone. I mean you could make a table based off pure raster, then a table based off RT, then a table based off upscaling and frame gen, etc. On and on and on. :) It looks decent enough to me.
