Just got done with the International B licence, all gold, and it was *hard* (for me at least...) and the game crashed and it hadn't saved *any* of it
I really hope I remember bits and pieces and it doesn't take that long next time
Seen that happen to people on the GT7 Reddit, why on earth it's not saving locally after each event then cloud syncing is beyond odd

I turned TCS off completely for that license test. And generally did my own thing. Eventually passed it after a few attempts.Can’t do the suzuka hairpin for gold in license A. Doing my head in!
Agree with the above @Greboth you’re just too fast
Change the steering assist to Weak from Strong. You’ll go faster but will be more prone to losing it.

Are you using a controller or a wheel? Are you looking for general suggestions or struggling with something specific?
I’ve got everything off except ABS but then I’m using a wheel so a bit easier than using a controller.

This old skool BMW M3 is great to drive, hands down the best car I've driven so far. Sounds brilliant (90% of the cars sound absolutely horrendous) and handles brilliant too.
The tuned up GTO sounds incredible. Almost all cars I’ve used sound brilliant. (The only cars that sound pap are the EV’s)

Yeah seems to be a known issue before release, unlike GT Sport I haven't spotted where it attempts to save or establish an online connection.
Depends how much you wanna spend and what platforms you want supported. All wheels that support PS5 will support PC; but few support Xbox on top of that...
G29 I guess is the bottom end or something Thrustmaster (TS300?); then I would have said Fanatec CSL Elite but I think thats now been discontinued in favour of what I think it sensible top end the GT DD Pro. There is stuff beyond that but doubt it applies since its either a bit more niche (so need more user setup) or just really expensive and more for immersion.
Gear driven < Belt driven < Direct drive...

Thanks for the recommendations - the G29 had been on my radar and picked one up this afternoon.
It's awesome! Anyone sitting on the fence of making the switch from a controller to a wheel just do it!
It has made a huge difference to the game, few races to get used it and I'm doing so much better.
I'm using it attached to an ironing board set at it's lowest level, working well as a stop gap, I need to find a decent stand that I can use when sat on the sofa. Good toy!
All B license done, B6 with the 350Z is for me super hard struggling to get gold time of 11.006 am so dam close but can't seem to do it.
B9 As well with the civic close but not got the gold. Nail them and B10 I'd have all gold, them 3 stuck on silver

The supras and Skylines are terrible. Most cars still sound like typical generic GT cars, I thought the hairdryer engines were meant to be no more in this version. And that stupid GT tire squeel again
If anyone stuck getting golds, turn off countersteering, most of my licenses I've beat gold time by almost half a second on average i reckon, it makes a huge difference, and that's on a controller. Over 2k worth of Heusinkveld pedals with Fanatec wheelbases and rims on my PC for my sims and I cant use on PS.... Its a killer.

Played a few. People are generally polite but you do get a few crazies. I’ve had a lot of fun so far racing for 9th or something lol can’t get anywhere near the front.
