I agree. I loved that feature, I knew I could go online and find out the prize lists but I never did, I just loved the surprise of not knowing what kind of car you're going to receive.

This is what I have been saying about the Go too, the fact it forces you to download the games means you are forced into the best way of playing them. I've not noticed load times at all since I got it. With UMDs it used to really nark me.

Yeah the same. I knew I could put them on my memory stick before, but I just couldn't be bothered with the hassle when I knew the game was right there on a UMD. Laziness I suppose but I'm sure a lot of people are like that. The screen really is a massive improvement over the 1000 that I was using. It's really, really good, you can look at it from any angle and the picture is great, there's no ghosting at all in any game that I've tried so far and the controls don't seem awkward to me either. Fits really well in my hands.

Yeah agreed, I have large hands, not freakish but still large and the PSP Go fits fine, the most I have played in one go would be around 2 hours, without any discomfort. The Go has made the PSP so much more appealing to me now. I have it on me everyday for playing on the tube and as long as they keep up with games like GT and Motorstorm, I'll be happy.

I take it that its not possible to tune cars to the point of buying new filter exhausts etc?

I'm not really enjoying it, load times are rubbish I get bored. Shame.

To cure your load time blues, just install the game to your memory card from your umd. Speeds load times up no end.

Would upgrading to a 3000 (would love a GO, but alas funds do not allow

) give me a hugely better screen over my 1000?

Never really been an issue for me before, but the more I play this game the more the ghosting annoys me!

picked this game up yesterday, very pleased with it. Graphics are amazing and the gameplay is great too, the loading times are a bit long, but bearable, starting to wish i bought this on psn instead.
with a good pair of headphones, it sounds great and the incar view though basic, does immerse you enough to forget about the lack of wheel and hands, and its very addictive.
can see this taking up quite a lot of my time, chose this over forza 3, waiting for gt5 as my next gen racer.
