Ahh, could this be 30 mins later?

I'm putting my son to bed around this time.

My little girl goes to bed around 7ish, so a 8-9PM start is ideal for parents.

Nothings set in stone yet mate, putting the feelers out to see who's available and when before deciding on times and dates etc. I imagine the later the better for most folk anyway. As long as its not too late

Yeah, host should also post the Room ID here too just in case. 15 minute practice at the start of each race gives people that little bit more time to get in and settled.

How do private lobbies work, can you send out invites or do they still use a room number like the previous games?

You can create Friends only lobbies, then you just join by showing rooms friends are in.

I'll aim to have the game hosted and set up around 20:30 this evening. You should be able to find it in the server browser if you filter by Friends. If we can make sure a few people record the replay and take a screenshot of the results screen, then we can keep track of all the results on the mini site. I'll try to remember to do it too.

Hopefully it is still tomorrow as I only managed to get a Gr4 car last night so need to have some practice.

Practice at 20:30 - 21:00, Race start at 21:00. Both tonight.

I’d like to join 8n ‘n this, but I’m finding GT a little daunting. Firstly I need to get a GT car, but what are the rules of the races? Is it all manual or is automatic allowed too?

No rules or restrictions for your racing style. We set limits on the Entry of the cars by using BoP (Balance of Performance) to keep cars around the same power/spec

Was a good clean race, there were a couple of occasions where I knocked someone but as I said last night, non of it was intentional. Cant remember who I was chasing down during the last few laps but there were sectors where I thought I’d have you in a lap but my poorer sectors let you pull away. When we planning the next race ? One per week or...? Did anyone get a screenshot of the results ?

Ok, so what’s the easiest way of getting a car suitable to race with? Do I have to just keep playing to earn enough money to buy a GT4 car?

Yeah just do whatever you can to get the free cars, do the circuit experience for quick cash, they are easy enough to Gold and you get a **** tonne of money for it.

No worries, I will make sure I have enough credits to get a car. I have a few in classes above annoyingly..

You may be able to enter with one of those, if you can downgrade it to a Gr.4.

Will we be changing classes for each race or sticking with GR4 ?

I think for now yes we stick with Gr.4 for this season. I've updated the schedule on the mini site for races in November.

I'll up the Race finish delay too so it gives everyone a better chance of finishing.

Looks good, Brands is a tricky one to overtake at........"Rubbing is Racing"

Are car setup changes locked by default with BOP on, or is that a separate selection?

I think BoP locks pretty much everything down other than the assists. Would need to check to clarify though. You may be able to adjust gears etc but no adding power or weight reductions.
