Is any game perfect? I wasn't expecting that GTA IV would be anything more than it is tbh, I think that some people were expecting GoW like graphics which just isn't possible for a game like GTA with this gen of consoles - IMO
Anyone tried the ZiT texting service to find out what track is playing on the radio? Really handy so far - just dial 948 555 0100 from your mobile and you get a text telling you what the artist and title is... cool!
You have to be standing right in front of the girl serving though.
The burger and hotdog stands are more annoying though as you only have to slightly bump into the stand and they wont serve you
I find the Blista Compact has really nice handling for the through city driving. The big sports cars can be a bit of a handfull when cornering at speed.
Motorbikes don't seem as easy to handle as previous GTA's - guess I need to put in some more time on them
yeah that was good. Didn't take me long to smash it up and lose it in a police chase though. I went through the windscreen and the police were too near the car to go back to it - when I went back after losing my wanted level it had gone
Had my first PS3 lockup yesterday
kind of ironic though as I paused the game to google how to unlock a frozen iPod Nano and when I returned to game it had froze too 
press up on the D-pad twice to get the numpad on your mobile phone and enter 948 555 0100 and hit dial. After you have used it the first time it will stay in your address book. Then if a track comes on the radio which you like you just dial the number and it will text you back with the artist and track name.
Did you not have any texts come through? Try calling a few people to see if it triggers the next mission.

Tried that, still nada - thats when I decided to call Roman again to do something, dropped him off, nothing drove around for a bit - got shot by a swat team after ramming a police barrier in my RangeRover Sport (well thats what it looks like). Phoned Michelle, went on our 3rd daterolleyes
I'll see what happens with it tonight, otherwise I'll have to start a new game
(anyone know if you start a new game does it reset the game timer? thinking about the complete in 30 hour achievment)
Have you tried pausing the game and looking through the mission briefs? maybe you missed something!
You will find a random character standing around near Romans cab office called Brian - if you approach him you get a few missions too.

One more question, do you have to have Roman's Taxi to do those missions? cos last time I saw it I was bailing out as it was plunging into the sea

Damn - My PS3 keep locking up when trying to do the last Elizabeta mission. The cut scene ends and I go into a perpetual loading screen.... reset the console and tried it a few times - Really ****ing annoying, Grrrr...!!!!
Don't think you can bump any of the main characters off tbh. I accidentally killed Roman in an early mission and after a short while he called me and asked me to pick him up from the hospital.
yep hold down 'Y' when you get out rather than just tapping it to get out. engine/lights/radio all turn off
i think the alarm get set on the ferrari as i bumped it move the cars around and the alarm went off
lol, I wondered why theyu were going missing as well - I suppose if you really left a car parked in NYC with the engine running then it would stay there long
Did you know you can put main beams on when driving too - hold square (or equiv on 360).

a quick visit to the weapons shop and a stock up of granades and sniper ammo, as well as your usual Ak47 etc - should sort you out np

I have had 6 attempts so far, first time I tried to swim it and got cut to ribbons, the second time I tried to drive out of there and the police shot my tyres and I got cornered and cut to ribbons. The next three times I died in the house, once by my naff grenade throwing skillz
Half way through the Job interview mission now
If you take your time on the way in then you can pick the gang members off one at a time and get to the coke with full armour and health. Then you have to leg it on the way out though as the cops just respawn - I got in a car, with a nanometer of health left, and managed to make it to the park. If you go into the park on foot the police don't follow you but just drive around the perimeter
so I casually strolled up to a hot dog vendor, restored my health and ran for another car before giving the fuzz the slip
I think SoBoHoe gives you a health boost over the phone if you unlock her special ability.
