I would imagine there will be loads of copies. Its not like a console launch where there may only be a hundred thousand available at limited stores.

This game will be everywhere. The only places that will sell out quickly will be the specialist shops that do Part-Exs etc etc as I imagine people will be trading in for it.

Generic stores and toy/gaming shops will have loads. Plus of course it is an 18, significantly limiting the number of console owning demographic buying the game considering how stores are toughening up on this.
 
What is it with the mail man and torturing me whenever a game I've ordered is on its way. Consistently came at 1:00pm all this week then suddenly today he's decided not to turn up at all. Well considering we've had post at 6:30pm before I'm more than confident he'll turn up :o

I sense tomorrow by midday you will struggle to get this shop in big supermarkets and shopping centres. Even the 24 hour supermarkets are telling people to get there at midnight and not to expect any copies left by 8am. Thankfully most retailers are getting deliveries tomorrow (batch 2), think web based places already receiving batch 2 of copies today.

The pop-up comments I read were from reputable reviews, who played the game at rockstar, not user comments from pirates. We're probably only talking a slight difference between the versions though, and could well only happen occasionally.

Not sure what I can say (spoiler) but IMO this game is a Single Player game with MP added on for longetivity, the MP is fun but the SP is better. Story is great, I don't get gripped by games much anymore, but I love this one.

Possibly, but considering the number of people who have already pre-ordered, given the lead time to this game and the hype. The number of casuals trying to get one may be lower.

At anyrate, I got my copy to pick up tomorrow, though Mass effect has got me well occupied atm. I would love to See GTA5 with some RPG touches like levelling / stats (not the rubbish from SA though) etc etc.

Would anyone consider GTA4 to be an RPG esque game though? Was thinking about this the other day.

On the only occasion i was given a parcel force tracking number it didnt work at all, package did however turn up pretty quickly though :).
 
Is it being released at midnight in each time zone, or Midnight here, and say 7pm in New York etc...?
