*** Grand Theft Auto IV - The Official Thread ***

Well was playing this till half 4, thought I best go to bed for a at least 2 hours!! Very good gameplay however , feel the framerate can get quite choppy on the ps3. I read somwhere it calms down after a bit. But i've playing onit for about 3 and haf hours andit's still the same . Anyone like to comment on thi s
 
Hmmm.

Think I'll wait till the end of the week before grabbing this.

Then again, I've almost finished my nightshift and will be off duty at 08:00 hrs, on the way home I pass maybe 5 different places that I "could" try and grab a copy at.

Dunno if I will resist the temptation!!! :D

Annoying thing is I've just started playing and really getting into Mass Effect. GTA IV will probably end up with me stopping playing Mass Effect and will end up like previous games - Probably never get around to getting back into them again. Anyone else find that happens?. Stop playing a particular game for a while and you sometimes just never play it again?.

A while back, I picked up Saints Row and it was the same - got into it and played maybe 2 hours worth of it, then another big game was released ( can't recall what one it was ) and I've never played Saints Row since. :p

P.S. This thread needs more screenshots!!! :D
 
Going to NON 24hr also as they open at 8, so should be full of stock(12 copies or whatever LOL)

If that doesn't I have a backup plan where I will collect it from where I just reserved it online.
 
Any one passing through Victoria train station this morning?

Just picked up my copy (not pre-ordered).

Plenty on the shelves in the shopping mall upstairs. :)

Oh, and i've just cracked the 100 page mark on this thread!!!!
 
Loving the game so far.

Was also very nice to get 500 free Microsoft points and free gamer pics. Might purchase from retail stores more often if you get these sort of goodies.
