I saw a bunch of 16yr olds get arrested in Glasgow city centre last night about half midnight outside a competitor.

Gangster.

On another topic walked in and picked one off the shelf in Paisley this morning.

My point exactly, I have NEVER seen any game sold out on the highstreet on launch day, no matter what the hype.

What do you mean by sold out though? I managed to get a copy, but I know of a few places that have none left (and I'm sure others know one or two that are sold out).

In Crewe, * had 10 PS3 and 15 Xbox 360 for general sale and the queue for each was double that.

* only had stock for pre orders, there were easily 50 people there waiting.

* had them for sale and pre orders, thet used a ticket system, I was 109, the last number I heard called was 138. They also sold 4 GTA IV PS3 sets.

* were not opening until 0730.

Got a 360 arcade and GTa arriving in a few days. Don't really know much out consoles these days though, I'm a PC Gamer at heart :) Have not owned a console since the N64 days so looking forward to this.

Will my game run slower though as i do not have a hard drive?? (arcade version)

Nope, not in the sligest mate, all it means is that you wont be able to get any downloadable content when it arrives, or download any demos etc from XBL

I was under the impression GTA4 did the same as Oblivion, if you had a hard drive, it cached parts of the game on it to speed things up.
 
Ok my SE has just dropped though the door (kinda), so ill see my other PS3 copy, i'll get some photos of the stuff if anyone is interested.
