n00b question alert ....... how do you actually dial a number on the mobile

I heard that you can also dial 911 and a cop car shows up, maybe there are other fun phone numbers to call.

Press up on the Dpad twice, once to get the mobile up then once to bring up the numberpad. From then on its just like a real phone \o/

Ah but dialling 911 isn't cheating. It tells you in your game stats how many times you have used cheats and still shows as none even if you have dialled 911. Plus iirc you have tlo do it for one of the earlier missions - one of Brucies I think.

They are full phone numbers, so doubtful you'd enter one by mistake.

I am at 35% and have never called someone with the numpad, there was a mission for Faustin that required a cop car but there was one up the street where the cop ran out of so that was easy.

I have called 911 for all of the emergency services, cop cars for missions and for fun, ambulance for health, and firetruck for fun

Yeah there are a few missions where you need a cop car, I only called 911 once, but I usually just stop one going past, jack the car and make a run for it - put the sirens on and people get out your way so it's really easy to lose your wanted level.

I called the cops when there was a fender bender in the street in front of me and the two AI involved got out and started beating the crap out of each other.

Police came and arrested the guy who was least hurt and chucked him in the back of their car.

Good citizen, me.

There is one where you have to phone a guy in the park, but you don't enter the number manually.
The other is where you go across the street and read his number off the phone, dial it and when he comes to answer, shoot him - although you SD users out there can just shoot the dish .

I see what people mean about "Snow Storm" now.. I couldn't find my way out of the old hospital for ages! and then got rammed and shot til I died

Just put a marker on your GPS and it guides you out?

I got no hits on the way in, 2nd try before I picked up the stuff I checked to see the way out, picked up the stuff, ran out while shooting with the combat shotgun and into a parked SUV and drove off with a shot tyre, when I had some sapce between me and the cops I changed vehicles and tried to get into the pay and spray but was seen, so I jacked another car and drove out of the zone.

I just killed all the cops, legged it to a bobcat nearby and drove out of the area.

Im sorry but snow storm was easy... i had to actually go back and check which missions id done to make sure it was the same one everyone is complaining about?

Snow storm was pretty easy - dont know why people have so much trouble with it!

I didnt say it was cheating. 911 is just a normal part of the game.


The cheats a a long number like 878-555-346 and things like (i made that number up) but thats what i ment by the phone is used for the cheats

I have an HDTV and I couldn't read the number on the phone. I had to wait until the guy who gave me the mission sent me his number.
