Where?

Ive read a guide on the internet to see what the advantages/disadvantages are of both, and whilst killing Dwayne gives me 25k, killing X gives me dwaynes special ability. Of which i dont know what that is.

Im tempted to kill the latter tbh, Dwayne.

Hmm im not really sure on exact locations myself. I just stick the waypoint on the small clothes icon :D

Should be on your map, it's pretty central on the middle city. Not sure if the location icon only appears closer to the time though. And you made the right choice in killing Playboy.

That window comes in handy...:p

How long till the third island opens up?
The only missions i have available to me at the moment are the one labled 'P' in Hove Beach, and the one i did the interview for.

yeah, you have to do the Packie missions to open up Alderney, the final mission is a glorious one to do the unlocking on though !

Im about 60% or so through the game.
Im really enjoying it so far , I like Nico too. Hes a much more believable character than CJ was in SA. I loved SA , thought it was the best of the series but CJ was just some street punk - getting into and winning massive shoot outs didnt seem right for the homie. Nico on the other hand is far more suited to it.

I can just pick up and play it whenever I like - be that a series of missions or just some bowling with Bruice , a race or two or some of the random stranger missions. I love that about it the most and none of it feels like a waste of time - it all counts towards your final percentage.
For example I used to stick Assasins Creed on occasionally if I had a spare few minutes and just see how many soldiers I could kill in the town - totally pointless waste of time.

For ages Ive been frustrated with games and havent really found one that grabbed my attention as much since probably Gears of War.

I hope Im right in thinking (like a few others have mentioned) that this game is a platform for R* to build from on the next gen consoles much in the same way that VC and SA were vastly different and far superior to GTA3.

I think this improves upon SA and VC in so many ways I only wish Nico would learn to start wearing a seatbelt.

did the hardest mission so far (IMO) last night, Payback. Took me about 6 attempts :( God damn Police!
I ended up grenading the place, running in Rambo style to finish any stragglers, then turned on the Police and boosted a squad car, still took me ages to lose my wanted level :'(

Ahhhmigod! :D Escorting bernie through the park, watching him run...priceless :D Then having the faggios waiting....true meaning of priceless!! :D
Despite the fact that the mission sent me into a blind rage because I couldn't handle driving something so stupidly slow, the game needed more of these type missions.

At the end of the day there wasn't enough variation in the GTA4 missions - I loved them, but I can see a lot of areas for improvement. I seem to remember ramming some housewife's porsche to bits in Vice City with her screaming as I did so. I also remember jumping out of a plane in San Andreas and parachuting down to a big dam. Missions were too plain and not involving enough in places. I still love the game to bits though.

I also have the feeling GTA4 was a foundation for much better missions...

I completely agree with everything you have said there. If GTA IV is the foundation for them to keep adding to then bring it on I say :D
