***Grand Theft Auto VI***

Confirmed earliest release 'fall of 2025' rather than just '2025' so another 18 months to wait and that's for the consoles,
likely looking at minimum 2 year wait for PC version :/

As a reminder... Take 2 was expecting their revenue to jump to $8 billion by the end of March 2025, that's why everyone thought it would be releasing Q1/Q2 2025
but now they're only predicting their usual revenue of $5.5 billion and are now publicly saying 'fall of 2025' for GTA 6 release

Guaranteed by the time its released on PS5 it will be starting to look average due to it being made to run on a 5 year old console. At least its not going to be available for PS4.

Just imagine the quality of game if it was PC exclusive initially with high end hardware being required (3080 minimum)

Would look great to say the least, though gta v held up reasonably well visually. When i had a 3080ti some parts of the map could still make the framerate drop to the 40s at 4k res.

People will always complain about something. Let them, at least we will get (got) much better games.
Wasnt Crysis (2007) ported to consoles years later, but looked terrible even then as detail and draw distance were massively toned down and level probably completely cut out?

Id go as far as saying OG Crysis looks better than some console and PC games of today.

It would be interesting to see if Crysis would even run on a PS5 Pro at 1080p with a solid 60fps.

Meh

Far Cry was a much better game in anycase
 
My gripe with Rockstar is that they tend to ignore the single player elements after a while and focus solely on releasing updates / new content for the online elements. Just look at GTA 5, RDR2 etc.

Seeing as 5 was released on the 17th September 2013 you may have a point...

Still, it's literally printing money and Rockstar like any other business, is a business.

Yes id had loved some dlc for gta5. I imagine gta6 will be even more online centered.
