Graphic's Card displays "No Signal"

I tried it with a tv. As this motherboard doesn't have any onboard graphic's I'm unable to tell whether I'm doing something wrong or what is broken.

My old PC doesn't seem to work anymore either so no unfortunately.

So my mates pc had a similar issue. It was the motherboard (I used my old rig as a test bed to confirm and then bought him a replacement mobo from this forum. It works fine now)

Well... there is a orange light by the ASUS network card & another orange light by the BIOS_LED whatever this means?

There's 8 power pins in the top left corner which has 'ATX 12V' next to it, whenever i plug a 8pin from the PSU (600W) into this it trips everything out immanently until i unplug it and then everything comes back to life. I identified this issue by manually unplugging everything then re-plugging everything one by one, any suggestions why this is happening? This is what believes to be powering my CPU (i7 2600k)

That info about the 8 pin power connector is really key. It's shorting when plugged in but it must be plugged in to power the CPU. Without it the CPU won't work and so it won't send any instructions to the GPU to display anything.

It could be a faulty PSU or a faulty motherboard. But there is a very small chance it could be a temporary short on the motherboard against the case. I would suggest taking the whole PC aprt and rebuilding it outside of the case. But make sure the motherboard is sitting on the anti static bag which it arrived in. Plug in just the CPU, heat sink and fan and the PSU. Make sure the power is off at the PSU or mains switch when you plug in or unplug anything. Make sure you have the long 24 pin motherboard connector and also that 8 pin CPU connector. Don't have the GPU in at this point. Turn it on (you'll need to plug in the case wire to the on/off switch) and see whether it powers up without shorting. If it does then turn it off again at the PSU or mains switch and add the GPU. Then turn it on again. If it works then turn it off, add the RAM and SSD/HDD.If it still works then turn it off, take it apart and reassemble again in the case. This way you will know if the motherboard is slightly touching the case and shorting it.

If it still shorts outside the case then the PSU or motherboard are probably faulty.

I'm going to take a wild guess and suggest that you have the 8 pin ATX connector plugged in to the GPU when it should be plugged into the motherboard.

Apologies, did some testing and worked this out.

So the 24 pin is plugged in to the right slot, the 8 pin is plugged into the top left corner which is powering the CPU. (took the GPU out so it's not plugged in or powered) the power isn't turning on, so i unplug this 8 pin powering the CPU in the top left corner and then turn PC back on and it all starts but SOON as i plug this 8 pin back in the whole thing trips out.

The 8 pin power connector that plugs into the motherboard is different from the one that plugs into the GPU. If your PSU is modular, make sure you have both cables correct at both ends.

I got a single 6 pin cable which has an adapter onto which makes it an 8 pin which i was plugging into the CPU connector - it's black and yellow like the motherboard 24 pin one.

I got another single black and yellow cable but just 4 pin no adapter on which i wasn't using - guessing i need to buy an 4 pin to 8 pin adapter to use for my GPU?

I plugged the other 4 pin power connector I wasnt using into this and seems to be fine now. However still displaying no signal on both monitors and it keeps cutting out then rebooting so I reckon the CPU is getting too hot as the heatsink I got is too small.

I'm confused whats plugged into where now. Maybe a few pictures or a video would be helpful. Also as asked by someone above, what PSU do you have?

4 pin which i plugged into the CPU slot in top left
24 pin plugged into the motherboard

That's correct.

4 pin which i plugged into the CPU slot in top left

Hmm... there seem to be a couple of revisions of this board, some with a 4 pin connector and some with an 8 pin connector. Regardless, it should be an 8 pin cable that breaks in two four pin parts.

24 pin plugged into the motherboard

Correct. Do you also have a molex power cable plugged into the power connector by the GPU slot?

In this image it looks like this is actually an 8 pin socket with a four pin in it? It looks like there is the left part of the socket just visible to the left of the plug?
