Yes, i personally wouldnt recommend it but its cheaper than they used to last month. can also tell that advertised cards are lasting longer before they sell, all good signs.

EVGA is asking customers if they want to change to the non mining gpu as well so thats a good sign.

This does potentially limit resell value of card's if they are 'less capable'.

3080ti Nvidia is the bigest scalper. so Nvicia scalper / scalper / gamer doesnt work. Irs funny to watch......

I woud never buy 3080ti for more thant 650£ but thats just me.

Looking on FM u can see plenty price changes was 500 now 400 etc....... slowly but its coming around.

No EVGA have said its performance will be the same they offer you to get the new card but if you still want the older mining one you can still wait for it.

Not really as come Sep/Oct no one will be using gfx cards to mine anyway.

Cheapest I can see is 1650 - but within 250gbp of msrp is better than it has been for a long while.

That £250 is 10% fees and postage, so buying to scaple would almost make a loss there.

Like end of the month , you may be able to get some FE cards below Msrp brand new as scalpers undercut each other, to get rid of scalped stock.

Yes you will. Its the 3080 FE I think that retails for £649, I think you will find the Ti is more like £1049 (which is £400 dearer so unlikely to ever be sold in next couple of years for that price)

I guess it's what the gamer is willing to pay for a few more FPS. Like most things, when you get to the top end small increases cost a lot more proportionally.
Although in the case of the 30xx series, the gains per price jump have been even smaller than usual.

Yeah prices are coming down. New LHR 3070s down to £750-850. That emarket scalped 3080s down to 1200. Power shifting back to the buyers. There will be some losses.
