So I sent them back to OCUK and they say there are no faults -

The motherboard has been replaced, different bios used to see which is most stable F7 being the one which is the most stable. Ram is stable, CPU is stable, no issues with HD - The power supply was tested by OCUK aswell(worked fine)

Look at this picture:

As I said in the bloody RMA report - The crashes happen periodicity, sometimes It will be fine for 4 hours then boom it will crash constantly for the next day. I dont get it so I am stuck with 2 cards I can barely use and everything has been looked into what hell do I do.

I have had NOTHING but nightmares since starting this build. The first card I received was DOA and since then nothing but nightmares with graphics cards not working.

Here is a video of trying to launch a game - This even happens sometimes when using youtube.

Cards are all stock - GPU temps below 50c all times, latest driver.

So mad you have no idea.

Hmmm that does look like a hardware fault.

Did you try different driver versions and a Windows re-install? The event log does say the driver stopped responding.

Have you tried reinstalling your operating system? If OcuK can't find a fault then maybe there is something on your system causing the issue.

what cpu? in event viewer any warnings/errors related to cpu/memory?

touch more cpu v might help with xfired cards even if it passes cpu stability testing

Windows is currently freshly reinstalled guys, so it shouldn't be that.

I am absolutely at my tether now. Many of you know all the drama ive had the last few months with graphics cards.

Also Bignev yes I have tried every single driver and all have the same results.

what make/model gpu and board? id guess at a gigabyte board? tried latest beta or modded beta bios?

I tried the latest bios previous to sending them off and it made the issue worse.

Instant crash in any game.

I think a new bios release was made just after I sent them off for testing.
The Board itself is a Gigabyte Z87X-OC - Running F7 Bios.

Both cards are - Powercolor 290's - Elpida memory.

tested by downclocking the memory if you can? maybe by 100/200mhz

those cards have bios switches? I think one position is for uefi? not sure though

EDIT: you tested f8 beta? also tried emailing gigabyte and tell them the issue also? could be bios bug

I tested in both positions with the bios switch.

I have not yet received the cards back yet to test the memory stability myself.

They have sent it to the wrong address to but wont be able to get that changed till tomorrow morning now.

Ugh

try underclocking the mem slightly when you get the cards back, then you'll have a rough idea the mem is faulty

id email gigabyte aswell in the meantime, strange for both cards to be doing it at stock clocks

ask ocuk if they tested on the same motherboard

I have had no reply in my CM thread :(.

Really upset about this.

Sounds like a nightmare, but it might be worth uninstalling any Gigabyte OC software that came with your board. I've a UP7 i know different board but i think it was Easy Tune or something that would cause my system to crash or just restart even if it was just running without an OC.

Uninstalled all gigabyte software, reinstalled drivers and the problem was gone  It's a long shot but you've tried everything else it seems.
