GRAW Graphics: Not that good?

Heres MHO

. graphics are good
. tearing is evident
. Gameplay is way to slow
. even at this slow speed there is slowdown..slowdown on slowdown, lol
. I think the game is still very good

Graphics are very good but as I said and moaned about before the framerate and speed of play has been sacrificed too much,,, The x360 seems to struggle to display this level of graphics.. People have told me that the speed of play has been intended to be this slow but NO WAY can I believe that, just wait and check out the PC version and see if the speed is slowed down as much as the 360 version there is no way someone is gonna play keyboard and mouse at that slow speed there would be a ten second delay between moving your mouse and the crosshair getting to the target, lol.. Also this is backed up by multiplayer being a lot faster, NOT because this is how the gameplay is intended but because the graphics detail is turned down for multiplayer giving the 360 room to breath as to speak and display a faster framerate,,

Tearing is evident, I cant imagine why because no way is this game playing over 60fps which most monitors run at, its probably tearing because the framerate is so slow. I think the people who say its not there just dont notice it.

Has anyone else found this glitch
If your on the level where your protecting v.i.p 2 where he is hiding behind the wall and the hordes of enemies come at you, try running out in the courtyard bit and diving down, while still pressoing forward get up again and scott mitchel will hover in the air you can then float him around lol

Anyway moan over, im off to play GRAW lol

There are some issues with the GFX, but it really is a good game, with great graphics. What do some of you guy's want? We're way off true photo-realism.

Thats atleast 2 generations off I would guesstimate.

theres no such thing as perfection??What i was trying to say was,, look at the graphics, and tech we have nowadays we should be rejoicing not moaning??

There are signs of graphics slowdown on maps like Wharf and Rocky Cove which is a little annoying.

But on the whole I think they did a very good job, the graphics add to the atmosphere of the game a lot.

imo the Gameplay is a little too fast still. I think its been sped up in the console version tbh (more arcadey). The enemies are always in the same place which means a lot of the looking around corners isn't neccesary the second time you play through. IRL I doubt you would run across open ground in an urban environment crawling with enemy soldiers.

I like both fast and slow games btw :) I take each game as it comes and accept it for what it is.

Oh, on a related note, tearing will happen whenever the frame refresh isn't timed exactly with the refresh of the display device. That means at 60fps there can still be tearing, same at 30fps. Its possible to eliminate tearing on PCs because the graphics card is notified by the monitor of every refresh (vertical blank). On TVs you don't get this signal and therefore some TVs will be fine, some won't.

My biggest gripe with the game (only got it yesterday) and I don't know if its just me but I am on the first mission and have had to reset the 360 5 times already because my character gets stuck. He will just stand against a wall and there is nothing you can do to move him, you can't fire, exit the game, be killed, or anything. If it carries on like this the game is going back which is a pity because I've enjoyed the brief few minutes I have actually played the game.

Any ideas.

errr, did you listen to the instructions in the training? press y to pull away from cover.

I never got stuck once, and its the same disc in every machine, so its fair to say its 'user error' ;)

 what you gotta be joking right. When you cant move your sights fast enough to put your crosshair on an enemy solidier because he is walking across the screen then unless im missing something its definately too slow. Like I said wait and take a look at the pc version and youll see the speed the game is intended to be played at..Still enjoying the game though kinda getting used to being so slow now, playing the game more as a strategy than a shooter ;)

No it doesnt. That means nearly every game would have tearing unless it matches your CRT/LCD. No other games I play through my LCD suffer from tearing. My LCD is 60HZ. Are you saying that every game that doesn't run at 60FPS will tear?

There are only 2 things that bug me about this game.
1 the really dodgey parts in the railroad level, they are terrible, i played the leve twice and the who thing was screwed.
Also has anyone noticed that your team mates mouths move constantly sometimes?? its really annoying!
Compair this to FN3 and this is so much better. FN3 could have done with another couple of months development tbh

I'm saying its a possible reason for the X360 tearing on some TVs with certain games.

lol dead again plz tell me u did try pressing Y

yep tried that, you can't fire your gun, move your troops, bring up any menu's or exit the game you have to turn the 360 off at the mains and reboot. I tried the game again this afternoon, it frooze again when the two trucks come round the corner and unload some men. Its odd, because i cannot move or be killed, i am being fired at, but my teammates are still moving ok and killing the enemy, its just my character thats frozen not the entire game.

on the tearing thing, i have noticed when playing through it again, it seems that the bacvkground tears whilst the foreground is fine. happened in the chopper big style when i panned around. He was fine but the background was criminal
