I've heard a rumour that French and Saunders will be hosting it, with Delia and Paul.
Not a big fan of Paul, so i'll give it a quick go and probably stop watching like with top gear...

If you were having a competition on who is the last person you'd pick to present Bake off I think Noel Fielding would be right up there!! Way too off the wall and wacky to appeal to the core bake off crowd. He'll be the Chris Evans sacrificial lamb to leave after 1 series when it bombs.

Noel Fielding strikes me as entirely the wrong person to host it, Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig. Thats just an awful pair to host it

Toksvig is ok... fielding is ok in a very particular niche... the two of them together will be an utter train wreck.

Anyone watching Mr Hollywood's City Bakes on UK food channel, I think this is his real vocation versus GBBO,
it is not a reality TV show and you learn something about Baking.
A bit of a travalog too (like Hairy bakers), in Dublin this evening , Soda Bread , BarmBrack, but previous NewYork with chiffon cake was interesting too.

GBBO was banned in the food and drink forum c2014, but this City Bakes could be re-instated there.
