Right, at 7:10pm 3 more people can get into the alliance. *Everybody* who wants in, post now, with your user name and your population. There are already three invites still open, so anybody who wants in, is going to have to have a good population, and be fast to click.

eLbot
Pop - 50 :(

Haven't got my hopes up but it's worth a try.

I signed up last night. Cool little browser game :D

One question. I just sent my troops to attack a village with a pop of 2. For some reason I can't find the village on the map now. Is there anyway to find out where my troops are heading?

Slow down there sailor!

Build up some fields first and get your cranny up to lvl 6+ then begin getting an army :p

Well I started as the teutons and I've been told it can be a lot more profitable in the beginning to get a barracks up and start raiding noobs. See how it goes :D

Nice one mrdbristol, cheers.

Edit

Dunno what the hell happend but I still can't see that village  Well I've just found a roman with a pop of 12 with his noob protection about to run out xD

In theory - yes.

But you'll need a good supply of noob villages near you.

I'm a Teuton , didn't build troops til around pop.45.

Build your fields and cranny up first to keep your resources safe.

Remember you're a noob also so someone will be watching you aswell

Aye that's a good point mate. I'm kind of hoping I can pilage enough resources from other noobs during my protection period to accumlate enough resources to start building up my village fast (well faster than I would simply spending my resources into new fields).

I'm not too bothered if it doesn't work. It's nice to see how the game really works before starting a proper character.

Edit

Ok, this romans protection is over. *cracks knuckles*

Quite enjoying this game, got my cranny to lvl8 and now starting to think about an army. What resources tend to be most sort after in markets once you've progressed a bit?

Wheat is probably the most valuable, as your wheat production is crippled by the amount needed to maintain the population.

Ok, it's saying I will arrive at his village in 35 minutes. Do I get some sort of indication when I have arrive at his village? What actually happens ?

Edit

Bah, my troops are still in my village. What on earth could I be doing wrong? I've just noticed when I do click on his village to attack it, I get this:

Arrival in 0:35:20 hrs. at 0:00:0? Uhr

Hence it is saying I will not ever arrive at his village. What could be causing this?

You're not pressing the ok button beneath that box. It hides and I've thought I've sent troops a couple of times when I've not!

I've learnt the hard way - sending a single unit anywhere will result in the loss of that unit...

I never tried two, went straight to three units and I've been bullying other that way! Sending three never lost me any troops.

btw, Oasis's (sp?) are for when you have a level 10 hero's mansion only

Just sent a single Legionnaire to an oasis with boars/bats/rats, he didn't come back :( :(

Another person didn't read my comment saying not send a single units to do anything.

Oasis my look and sound easy, but they are much to tough for anything less than 30+ troops, unless you want loads of deaths.
