Great Browser Game - Travian

Wow I fogot about this game till now, a fair few of us played about a year or more ago, we had a small alliance going (which I was the head of I think, though its been a very long time so I cant really remember) We did fairly well, but I cant really remember anymore.
 
Whoa, even more people want to join now! Okay, I'll sort out another three slots sometime today, I don't have enough resources yet.

Current invites are:
Invitation for Frosti (Might get revoked)
Invitation for emailiscrap
Invitation for Solari (Might get revoked)

Data base problem

EDIT: nevermind, i guess it was something temporary. :)

EDIT2: I keep getting that error, i just have to hit refresh a few times to get each page. :( :confused:

It was a temp problem on the server last night if you go to the forums linked from the game page all the info is there with lots more good advise too
 
Can you be in multiple alliances?

I joined one that I thought was OCUK, but it isn't.

I have 51 pop, cranny lvl 5 (soon to be six) and production as follows:

Wood: 24 per hour
Clay: 28 per hour
Iron: 24 per hour
Wheat: 15 per hour

If I can join, I will leave the other alliance.

Nope, only one at a time.

I'll send you an invite when I get my embassy level up a few more notches. I'm still trying to build enough to keep up with the demand.

As for defense, the best bet is to always make sure they go home empty handed. That way, they gain nothing and you lose nothing. Its a pain, but nothing you can really do.
 
How long for your next embassy upgrade Caustic?

Also, looking through the alliance tables, it looks like some people have members of 19, 23 etc. I though it was multiples of 3 per embassy level. How did they end up with such odd member numbers?

Barracks, trapper, marketplace, cranny level 5, and other sundries.

Looking to buy a town wall soon too

Well, my scout just returned and found another city with 800 of each resource just sitting there, waiting for me, so that should cover most of the cost for the next level. However, it will be a while before I can collect it all. I'm going to research medium cavalry first.

All in all, it should be done before 6pm tonight.

The max number increases by 3 for every level you have, but I guess quite a few alliances aren't at max capacity.

Don't bother with a town wall until you have some troops. Do you have a raiding party yet?

EDIT: The good news is I found yet another easy source to raid, the bad news is my hero just died! Bugger.

think I need to get in on this raiding lark, so hard getting resources when u only have a hand full of lvl 2 and 1 in each resource.

Rally point and barracks yes?
 
Raiding is by far the best way of getting resources, but, to do so, you'll need at least 3 troops. So, you'll also need a barracks. You automatically have a rally point. Make sure you have a good supply of wheat, as troops need to eat.
 
I was raiding quite happily with my 6 troops until someone raided me with 60 of theirs O_o

They didn't get away with anything though... muahaha!
 
Word of advice to those who don't know.

Go to the Travian Plus section, and you will be able to purchase upgrades using gold coins.

You start of with 35, and can use real money to buy more.

I now have all my resources producing 25% more for the next 7 days at 5 gold a pop :D

Save it for when you resource fields are further upgraded/maxed out... You get far better value...
