Greatest dance track of all time?

a lot of good tracks mention here, however most are not really what i'd class as a dance track (cafe del mar for example)

jx-there's nothing i wont do is my idea of a good dance track

well, you could bring it down to an obvious level of 'it's a track i've danced to' but it's a prog house track that one would usually find as part of a dj set and it is not commercial.

"Dance music" pretty much covers all forms of electronic music with a repetitive beat.

House, trance, techno and breakbeat and all of their numerous sub-genres are all forms of dance music.

Have to agree that Delerium - Silence would be my choice. It has everything, chilled, rave, and no song I've every heard can make you come up like that!!

On the other hand this is my 2 personal choice.

There is a better remix of this somewhere but I cannot remember who did it

I have chosen two tracks that make my stomach churn in a funny way!

OMG, I guess Im showing my age as I can't believe no-one has mentioned slipmat! I chose SL2 On a ragga tip, though I would have had 'way in the brain' if I could, otherwise Id have gone for Prodigy or maybe 'Pump up the volume' as that started so much for me.
SL2 were one of the reasons why 92-93 were so good and why I have no short term memory left.
Josh winks was good, but Trance was something I used to put on to sleep to after getting back from the inevitable club after party - guess I will always be an old dark hardcore boy....
