It was far from an inept performance, just more inept finishing. Again.
The amount of chances we'r making now an 07-08 Torres would have been on Messi totals.

Yep it doesn't look so shameful now! We shouldn't get too carried away though, the last 3 matches have been against ridiculously poor opposition (perhaps Fulham were only poor for 45 mins but still) The injuries are mounting up though, Who out of Jones, Evans, Smalling and Ferdinand are actually injured?

a team with £300m invested in it in two seasons, and you find excuses for not scoring against a mid-table team (at best) :eek:
 
SAF joint top at the half way point. I would put money on SAF celebrating magic 20 (i think).

As for chelsea, the team look confused again. Looks like something needs to change in the style or tactics as this team just dont get it. Lampard looked like he was 65 today. Not a good time with Arsenal and Spurs offering very real danger.
 
Well done howard web, Everton dont look remotely like scoring all afternoon, and he gifts them a penalty because Osman kicked the ground. :mad:

Jones "only" has a swollen cheek, Evans I think was taken off because of the yellow, Smalling nothing has been said as far as I can tell as yet, and no one seems to know about Rio (but Im thinking its rested rather than anything else)


edit - and Utd seem to always improve in the 2nd half of the season.......

Downing has created a ridiculous amount of chances this season. It's only because none of our strikers can finish that people aren't raving about him.

This, the entire team is creating bloody loads! almost every game!
As i just said, 07/08 Torres would be on 20+ by now with the amount we've made.

I'm sure he would have a few assists with better finishing but his crossing on the whole is useless. 17 games, no goals and no assists. He's a waste of space on the right and is showed up time and time again by Johnson.

Oh no we should have scored, I'm just happy to accept its not always going to happen and not go postal on the team/manager/ref/weather like everyone else on here :p We're still top having played everyone but Arsenal away from home, and that team with 300m invested in it has been playing the best football in the league. There's still not a lot to be unhappy about to be quite, er, frank :p
