Did Ronaldo really spit on Elanga?

I cant tell if its infront of him but if hes spat at him thats absolutely disgusting. They need to explain why Bruno is seemingly allowed to throw punches as well. I cant tell if the punch actually landed but its not relevant anyway. Why have VAR if they are just going to ignore incidents such as that?

I didn't see Ronaldo spit but wouldn't have thought he'd spit at Elanga though as they seem to get on

I'm pleased Boro and Derby resolved the legal action between them, I'm more pleased we whacked them 4:1 though.

From the BBC Website

But opposition manager Ralph Hasenhuttl gave maybe the most telling comment, suggesting teams have United worked out.

The Austrian said: "It is not a big secret that when they lose the ball that the reverse gears are not the best from everybody."

Kind of says it all really

He spat at him from behind, but it looked directed at Elanga to me. Didn’t look accidental at all.

Doesn’t surprise me. Ronaldo is idolised but he’s always had an ugly side to him.

I mean he’s turned his head to Elanga. That’s why I think it’s deliberate...you can also spit on the floor aswell

The reaction from the opposing player was pretty telling.

United could be without Ronaldo and Bruno if the FA get involved.
Like I said I honestly didn't see it will see if its on match of day later

I saw the bruno incident and agree he was lucky

They didn't show the offside goal where there were 6 (six) man u players caught offside either.. Jenas was far more concerned about Hassenhutl saying utd are known to be crap in the transition from attack to defence

Lol he’s just being honest. Calling that out but not showing a clear punch and a player spitting on his team mate is laughable. Fully expect the FA to not do a thing about either incident.

Was more a statement on how MotD is awful. Hope they dont do anything about Ronaldo personally, any ban would only benefit Man U, the more he plays the better :)
